Visited over the bank holiday, understandably it was busy and not much stocked due to the larger stores being closed by the time we popped in.nBut the staff member who served us at the till was horrible, tall foreign guy, he was rude to everyone and berated me because I wanted to use my membership card and didn't tell him until after he had pressed card payment, when he hadn't asked if I had one like he did to all the customers before and then dismissed me with a flick of his hand when I asked for a receipt saying 'you're finished leave' and walked away to serve on another till.nnI'm a Front End team leader for superstore and I was absolutely disgusted with how he acted and treated customers.
This is a very small store, so naturally it doesn't stock the full range of Co-op produce. It is more suited to picking up items for that day or evening than a full shop. Oddly there are often items for sale that are no longer available in the larger stores. One disadvantage of its location is the limited parking and difficulty in getting out of the store to the main road.
Constantly struggle with recruitment which leads to poor standards. The team work exceptionally hard and are pleasant but under enormous pressure.nThe Regional Team and the H.R. Team need to assist and fix, it's what you're paid for folks!nAvailability is generally good.nThe car park is dire, very dangerous, it's also filthy and not a great reflection on the Co-op as a whole.nHIERARCHY need to get the resourcing fixed and fast.
Nice size coop which you can get your daily essentials and also good offers too.nFriendly staff - served by JohnathannParking outside. Disabled bays available
Good shop, with practically everything you need. Prices seem to be higher on some items than in other supermarkets nearby. There is a Costa coffee machine, which is good.nHowever normally there is a short queue to pay as normally only one or two people are on the tills.nThis shop is good for the odd item you forgot to buy
