I did not intend to visit and almost walked past on the walk into town. Glad we went inside, an interesting history with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Definitely recommend.

An interesting little museum, fair value for money. A lift takes one to the various floors, and there are interesting displays about crime and punishment and the border rievers. Admission is a little pricey for what it is, but console yourself you’re helping to keep it open.
