I would have given no star if it was possible. I came up from the Midlands to help a friend to move house. She booked a van for this and received a confirmation e-mail straightaway. No unlocking code came on the day. Phone calls to their customer services revealed Hertz had cancelled the booking. The reason? The computer said "no" but Hertz did not care to tell anyone!! We had no van for moving house. I have wasted my time-off. Hertz is untrustworthy. Avoid at all costs! Try Arnold Clark, Salford Van Hire instead.
Managed to get a van at very short notice after bring let down by a certain other rental company. Van was mostly clean, but it did have some undocumented damage I had to report and a missing fuel card.
Horrendous customer service. This is the sort of gimmick that only works when it works. When it doesn't go to plan, speaking to a compos mentis human is impossible Instead, I got a drink Irish man who thought I was his long lost Uncle. They messed my day up big time. But at least I know how shockingly bad they are now, and if you have any sense, you will give these numpties a wide berth.
Not sure why Google added this to my timeline as I went into IKEA and didn't hire a car/van. I am sure it's fun to hire one of their vehicles maybe you should just for fun. Enjoy out people. Bye for now.
Super easy way to hire a van by the hour, granted it’s not cheap however the vans are clean and really straight forward to use.
Reliable but not the cheapest.
Awkward and long winded. Wouldnt bother
