Will never rent from Hertz again, I was picking up another rental from here because the one I had hired from the Ipswich branch from Nicky and Andy was not road worthy and broke down in Kent on my daughters 10th Birthday leaving us stranded. Debbie replaced the car and was polite but did not carry out the damage vehicle check with me as 'they were about to close and I'd better hurry up anx get in the car with my two kids and suitcase before they locked the gate. After returning the car to Hertz in Ipswich to which no one was there to receive it suddenly a 'scratch appeared on the rear of the vehicle for which they immediately took out £126 without even an explanation! Still waiting to here back from Hertz about my official complaint 11 days later. Never rent from Hertz.

Outstanding customer service from start to finish!! I was given their land rover discovery as a courtesy car whilst mine was in for repair. I cannot fault them what so ever they went out of their way to help me and make sure I wasn't left without a vehicle. Friendly reliable service, I would go to them to personally hire a vehicle for sure and will be reccomending to family and friends. Thank you to all the staff at hertz northend road. Katherine x
Possibly the worst customer service I've ever seen. Booked and paid in advance for a car with hire commencing at 9.30am. Car wasn't ready and I was left waiting until 10am. I was literally paying for the car while someone finished their breakfast and then gave it a rudimentary wash. Politely raised my concerns with the receptionist who was actively hostile and actually attempted to blame me for turning up early ??. When I returned the car 4 days later the same receptionist sat on the phone on a personal call and ignored me for 10 mins. I eventually just left the keys and walked out. I called customer service who displayed about the same care and concern as the receptionist. I asked for a refund for the first 30 mins hire since I was paying for a vehicle they hadn't provided. The customer service person actually scoffed since it 'was only 30 mins'. An utterly vile, grubby, and 3rd rate business.
Absolutly horrible experience. Delivered manual car instead of automatic, car swapped 7 days later with a faulty automatic car that we are unable to use.
If I could put no stars I would ! A family member rented from here ! I understand that covid-19 has made life stressful but no need for rudeness !! Poor health and safety standards ! Car was dirty inside and out ! In no way was it sanitised and smelt of smoke . Rude member of staff called Jo there she made my family member extremely uncomfortable with her aggressive and argumentative tone !! 0 stars !!! Avoid this branch !

Good service but 67 plate Mercedes van didnt start on arrival?? Had to keep van running for 10 hours incase it didnt start again.
