Wonderful afternoon by the log fire, dog in tow, looking out on the estuary. Food excellent and ambience perfect. Friendly welcoming staff and owner, food standard that of a high quality bistro and for once prices that make you know your going back. Very clean, smart establishment with a homely feel. Love it when you go somewhere like this. Highly recommended and thank you.

My Husband and I worked all morning went to the Heron for lunch absolutely fantastic food, very comfortable restaurant weather dressed to top standards or on a lunch break in work wear. The Heron is so good thanks to all the people that work there. Please visit you will be so impressed.

The Heron Inn has excellent food, friendly and efficient staff and superb views looking out over a tidal river.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My little brother had his birthday here and the staff were very capable at doing the cake for him.
