Received Terrible service from staff and Manager, shopped there and checked out, was asked if I wanted a receipt I said no, 2 minutes later I tried to return an item due to my allergy. The staff refused as she said I did not have a receipt. (Another member of staff was trying to co-operate but she was quashed by the staff member dealing with my request) she then went in the back asked the Manager the same, only to return and say that the Manager has refused. I am absolutely sure as she only served me 2 minutes before and knowing full well that she did not give me a receipt, that she was just trying to be awkward, as quite rightly the other member of staff suggested she should look at the till history and see the receipt, the store had not had any customers since I had been so that would have been very simple to do. Despite her suggestion to do this the staff member was ignored I was told we cannot return the item. I have thrown away the item in question as I cannot use it. I just want to URGE Everyone to make sure that you get a receipt. I will think twice about returning.
