This university is all about bad professors They do not even reply to student mail This university only ask for money at each and every point of your student life They are harassing international students from India Once we pay all fees they take it for granted Don’t take admission in this university even if you get unconditional offer as they give admission but afterwards they tell you to pay one or other fees. And they’ll failed you at the end so that once again they could get fees from you.
I had one of the worst experiences in this university. Nearly, 400 students were caught during contract cheating. Majority of the scores were biased. So, I have left the University for good. The communication from administration department and financial department is very poor. I have left the University in 2022 January and still didn't receive the refund January 2023 or any update on the refund. It's pretty shameful that I haven't received any response to my mails regarding the refund or any help from the University in this process. It's a shame that they don't show any accountability, when the mistake is clearly on their side.
This university is in serious debt. If you need to apply for childcare during your studies, I don't recommend you use this University. From personal experience, they don't cover the total amount even if you applied for the maximum student loan. Plus, they only give you two hours of lectures on the subject. Don't commit the same error as me. Coursework plus an assignment per subject, not much feedback. If you want to learn, this is not the place.
Great school that you will never desist to be amaze! I never regret joining it. Great school with endless opportunities.
Brilliant place for study. I did my Master degree there. Today has my graduation. Finally after 2 years.
Very very bad teaching and vibe on lessons. I don't recommend having any courses on built and environment courses.
Managed to get a 3 day free pass. Easy to sign up and plenty of activities to book. One of the better basketball courts in Edinburgh.

I love it .. it's more than a university It's fascinating
If you are a young student I strongly do not recommend this university to you, why? You are Merely a Statistical factor to this university. You’re health and well-being doesn’t not matter to Herriot watt university even if you provide to them a medical letter from your doctor. Or the medication they you have been taking so that you can recover. I strongly do not advise you to enrol at Heriot watt university.
