The Nucleus building is where I lived in year 1 of my CS & Physics degree. The lecture theatres are the best of any uni I’ve seen and the study spaces are so modern, green and open. There’s also great hot food as well as the nucleus shop bar which has great meal deals for £3.75. My favourite place to study.
The environment and classroom is very conducive for learning. The library is well equipped. The staff are also supportive.
Only just started studying here but really enjoying the campus so far. Great facilities and really well located. Here's to the next 4 years!
My alma mater and the place that set me up for life's voyage.nnWelcome to one of the world's top universities....you don't fully appreciate it at the time because you're working so hard.nnLots of fond memories in engineering when the Wolfson institute was still part of the University and we all got our 3rd year test chips made there.nnHome of the James Clerk Maxwell Building JCMB and 35 years later I'm still in wonderment of what we learned in those physics labs.nnOutstanding quality of education and first class professors, lab techs, library, supplies and learning atmosphere.nnSigh....I long to re-visit my old haunting grounds someday.
