Excellent service and food. We came here for our Wedding Anniversary and were really pleased we did. I had driven past it many times and seen good things about it on Facebook so thought it would be good to try it. The Staff were really friendly and helpful. It was lovely in terms of decor and the atmosphere. The toilets were extremely well presented and there was ample parking to the rear.
What a treat this place is! Nestled away in the heart of Sutton Cheney, tastefully decorated, superb menu with great variety. Top class service, the food & deserts were gorgeous! Will absolutely be back, and would without a doubt recommend this place. By far my favourite spot for miles!
Gorgeous birthday meal for my hubby. Creamy mushroom starter gorgeous & roast was best he'd ever had. The stick toffee pudding was sublime. The only issue for us was we were seated downstairs & dogs are allowed & there were alot! We have 3 dogs & can't understand why you'd want to bring them out with you for a formal meal. So our advice is ask for a table upstairs.
Oh. My. Word! My brother and his wife told us about this place, so we decided to take them there for a nice dinner. I cannot say enough about how amazing this meal was! First of all, on Monday nights, they have a deal where you can get a main course plus a starter for 19 GBP, or 23 GBP for a starter, main course and dessert. It's a tiny bit more limited than the main menu, but not much. Even without that, the prices are great I think the most expensive item I saw was about 24 GBP. We got the soup of the day leek and potato with a hunk of crusty bread and it was delicious. We also got the mushroom and garlic cream over toast and YUM! We got a burger, a lamb burger, fish and chips, and the braised beef stew. Plus, they do special orders for people with specific dietary needs. My sister-in-law has celiacs disease, and they made a beautiful meal for her. We had a red velvet brownie with white chocolate ice cream, and a delicious key lime cheesecake for dessert, as well as a few affogatto's sp?. The service was wonderful, the restaurant was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. We are here on vacation from America, but when we get this way again, we will DEFINITELY be eating here again. Thank you for a fabulous meal and a fabulous experience.

Visited here with a small group of friends. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome and were promptly shown to our table. Our waitress arrived shortly after to take our drinks orders. Throughout our time here the service was exceptional. The staff were prompt, efficient and friendly without being over bearing. The staff taking our orders were very knowledgeable about both the food and drinks menus and nothing was too much trouble. We were provided with the standard menu and informed about the chef's and daily specials. The venue was comfortable, clean, with a rustic flavour to the decor. The food was cooked to perfection and portion sizing was spot on. We had three courses, all of which were very tasty and well presented. Considering the quality of the food combined with such great service, pricing was extremely reasonable. If you are looking for good quality food and exceptional service in a warm, inviting venue, then do not hesitate to visit Hercules Revived.
Me and my husband visited on a recommendation to kickstart our Christmas celebrations. We were not disappointed. Lovely surroundings with a great atmosphere and every member of staff we had contact with was amazing and very welcoming. We ate from the Christmas menu and every course was impeccable - Christmas flavours with an original twist - gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will definitely be returning. Thanks to everyone and 'Merry Christmas.'
Returned for the second time and again excellent meal, staff very good, menu is excellent. Will look forward to our next visit.
