Lovely place! Beautiful surroundings in a tiny village with excellent pub. Toilets and showers are adequate and matching the very good prices. Huge field where you can pick your own spot, little tea shed to hide when it's windy. We loved our stay!

Really lovely campsite. Rustic with amazing views. Calm and tranquil and brilliant for kids.

A wonderful experience. It was the first real time camping since childhood. I went with my 12 year old daughter. Hennock campsite made for a perfect holiday. Yes, it’s basic but that is what we wanted. It has a great scenic location over looking rolling hills and fields of Dartmoor within a proper local village. The owners were really friendly and helpful. But do watch out for lovely and sociable dog (good with children) called “Lady, who has taste for balls, both large and small. There were many casualties littered on the site. We had already planned to go over to the Lynmouth area, with a 2 hour drive along country lanes. When we got there, realised how much we had found the perfect site at Hennock in the first place. So we stayed one night and drove all the way back and the 2nd stay was like the first, near perfect and caught the annual Hennock country fair. We will be back.

It's not far from me, but it's a lovely little escape to the countryside. Barbecues and fire pits allowed and absolutely stunning views.

Gorgeous campsite, lovely staff and for a good price. Amazing view as well which really makes this place
