I wanted a simple quiet campsite where I could camp with my motorcycle and read a book by a camp fire. Five Wyches is exactly that. I went in August and there were other campers but plenty of space and no feeling of being crowded. Sarah was super friendly, helpful and full of great local advice. The town nearby has everything you need and I found the Cromwell Arms to be friendly and serve a good pint. I would highly recommend and will return. I would also recommend to families looking to escape suburban or city hustle and bustle.

A quiet secluded campsite off of the main road. A long drop toilet and a hot shower what more can you ask? The owner also supplies firepits and will supply logs on request. Magic site.

My son (5 3/4) spent 3 nights on the site and had a wonderful time. Hot shower, fire stand and plenty of logs to burn. I have camped at various sites all over UK and this was perfect for some wild camping. Plenty of space, wild flower area with lots of grasshoppers and crickets to find. A wood area to play in was also fun. Sarah came and met us and was helpful and informative. My son had many firsts for him bit more surprisingly I did too...sat having breakfast had a little Wren sit 3 feet away having his cricket based breakfast. As a keen bird watcher it was a sight that I will remember from this trip. I will most certainly recommend and be returning. Thank you 5 watches farm. 🖒

Lovely basic campsite located nearly Haytor which is explored in a day walk from here. Center with nice bakery and tourist Info is close. Do not expect 5star camping and enjoy this cosy place even more.
