Sam and Dan were brilliant to deal with when the company I work for purchased a new sliding door for one of the fleet vans. They were great on the phone, quick to provide a price, got the order in quickly so we wouldn't have to wait long on delivery, and helped me load. An engineer in the carpark area also helped direct me to the bays where best to collect and then went inhouse to let them know I was there. Excellent service.
By far the worst dealer experience of my life.nnPurchased a 2019 Ford Focus with 29K on the clock, at 46K and less than 18 months later the car developed a fault which has necessitated a full engine and turbo replacement at the cost of £7,000.nnI had purchased an extended warranty, however Hendy have slyly hidden behind the fact that they cap their warranties at £3000 per incident, leaving myself still £4000 out of pocket.nnIn short their warranties are not worth the paper that they are written on. and their cars are apparently only good for about 50K miles before they expire in a cloud of steam at the side of the road.nnThe head office doesn't want to know, and the dealer is only interested in when you are handing them money over the counter. I would expect a canned reply about how their customer experience team will deal with this under this review at some point, but I can tell you now it wont amount to anything.nnIf you are looking to buy a Ford from Hendy, I would run away as fast as you legs can carry you...
Car went in for MOT Tuesday. There was an issue which I was quoted £276 for I accepted as the work needed to be done.nWednesday, I was advised the part had come, but it was the full arm and not just the piece they needed, raising the cost to £424. I accepted as I needed the car back. Then I get a call to say that the hub nut had broken when they were fitting the new part. They expected it to be 2 days to come. I rang Thursday, but there is still no update. I rang Friday, but it still not received. I was then told it would be the following week. My husband rang a Nissan dealership who had 11 of these nuts in stock. So a friend took me over to pick it up, and we delivered it back to Hendys to get the job finished. The girl on the service desk was worse than useless and completely devoid of any customer service skills. If I could source this part and get it within an hour, why was it taking them days? I will never use this garage again.
What an absolutely frustrating morning.nnQuoted to do the wet belt on my tourneo custom via phone and by 2 ford representatives. On the day, on arrival, began checking in my van with reception to be told the price had been increased £396!nnI produced the quote on the email and they said they'd find out and get back to me. I left the van with them.nnLater a phone call ended up with them holding strong on the new price. AND them telling me they didn't have all the parts anyway so they couldn't do job today, even if I agreed to the new price!nnAbsolutely shocking. Been a ford customer for most of my driving life and this has really out me off Ford.
Quality service from sales advisor Michael Hillman when looking into the Ford Ranger. Gave me a good understanding on the range of vehicles as well as finding the best possible solution on purchasing one. Would recommend speaking to him.
