I broke down on the day I was traveling home. The team at Hendry and McDonald had a fantastic attitude to helping me and went out of their way to repair my car. First class service.

Took car in to change petrol pipe as it was leaking asked if they had time if they could do a service. Received a text to say it was ready, great. Called to ask how much £160 ok that's fine. Went to collect to be told they done the service but didn't change the pipe as it would cost too much. We should have been informed prior that they were not going to fix our original problem before servicing the car! Quiet expensive for a service and lack of communication is just rude wish we just waited on out original garage being available! Just feel ripped off

I took my car in here after a recommendation from a colleague to get it looked at when it was feeling unstable. They were unable to find anything wrong with the steering or suspension after a long test drive but did charge me £80 for this. While i was collecting the car one of the mechanics did tell me they had managed to disable the speed limiter for me while they were working on the car. When I asked him what he meant he described a light on the instrument cluster and when I got back in the car I realised he meant they had simply turned off the cruise control

Honest garage. Great service. Trustworthy. You don't have to worry about being ripped off. Excellent.
