Story

John has worked in the tattoo industry for the past 14 years sudios include Studio 81 Preston, The Studio in Afflecks Palace Manchester, Fallen Angel Liverpool and House of Pain in Withington. He has also worked several conventions including The Manchester Tattoo Expo and the Bulldog Bash at Stratford upon Avon. .He has lived in Cornwall for 4 years, and has family connections there, and decided to open a studio with a slight difference.
Hells gates is situated at 45 meneage Street in Helston. John, a former joiner, has converted what was once MR SIMMS into a clean ,modern studio with a shop in the front selling band t-shirts, and gifts.
Hells gates is a family run business with Jane ,Johns partner of many years, overseeing the shop and reception area whilst John is locked in the studio at the back doing what he does best, creating fantastic artwork on skin.
John who is passionate about the art, is happy to spend time with his clients ensuring that their chosen design is right for them and is as comfortable tattooing custom pieces as he is from flash designs.
John and Janes aim is to provide excellent ink work in a clean, relaxed and friendly studio that clients will return to again and again. After all how much more interesting would the world be if we all had lots of ink!!!!

Shauni is our second tattooist, who has been with us since 2011. She is also our body piercer.
