They need phone training. Held in a queue for 20 minutes, they then pick up the phone and all I hear is somebody typing, I'm shouting "hello" down the phone... to no response.... after a few minutes I disconnect, then I'm back on hold for 30 mins. Thanks a lot guys.

Update - I am regularly put on hold for AGES. I don't think they answer their phones sometimes. The only way to progress the queue is when people give up holding which is what happens with us regularly. If they can't cope they should offer a callback or get more staff.

Another thing - when ordering prescriptions it's a guessing game as to whether they have arrived at the chemist or not. For instance their intranet shows it's been processed but chemist says no...and how hard would it be to be sent an automated email saying this is done??

What is your phone system. You cannot get through just left in a queuing system of 10 people. This seriously needs sorting out. Older people cannot sit for 1/2 hour or more waiting to be answered. How many people do you have to answer the phone ?
