Oh my goodness. I never leave reviews, but I stopped in to hedge end fireplaces yesterday with the intention of paying them to survey and fit a full fireplace suite ie spending thousands of pounds of our hard earned money. I've never met such a rude rude man. From start to finish he said things like "well customers often lie to us ... ", he was very off hand and derogatory about my questions (we've been researching for a while). I politely said thank you, walked out, and thought I'll never give a penny to you, and wouldn't trust you to protect anything but your own interests. I then went to west country fireplaces in Totton and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They even gave me a knowing look when I mentioned where I'd come from, and said, very professionally I might add, that they get quite a few people coming over from there (he has quite a reputation apparently). Ok rant over. Thank goodness there are far more lovely people in the world than horrid ones. Pass their threshold at your peril!

The fitters were very friendly and very professional. No mess was made and they did a great job. Excellent customer service and would recommend! Many thanks Hedge End Fireplaces :-)

Disgustingly rude business owner - have never ever been treated so rudely before by any business, let alone as a perspective customer.

Friendly, professional, efficient and tidy! Brilliant team and so pleased with results, despite having to find us spare roof tiles! Many thanks, highly recommended.

Disappointing customer service. We had purchased a fireplace from Hedge End Fireplaces in 2011 and after 5 years felt it required a service. We visited the showroom, gave our contact details, and waited for them to make contact to arrange a visit. Then … nothing. We called to remind them, they promised to ring back and again … nothing. Conclusion: Unsatisfactory customer service. I would suggest Hedge End Fireplaces are avoided if you expect any follow up support.
