Heathergate Country Park is a haven of peace & tranquillity nestling amongst acres and acres of beautiful parkland on the outskirts of the North Pennines & within 5 miles of the Northumberland National Park . Just 30 minutes drive from Newcastle , you could be in another universe such is the contrast. The hustle & bustle of city life make way for relaxed pleasure. Traffic noise & pollution are replaced with gentle walks and fresh country air.

Majestic wrought iron gates provide an exclusive entrance to our striking 5 star park and all its facilities. Once you are on the park; take pleasure unwinding in our Tynedale Lounge with a complimentary tea or coffee as you browse the internet on our communal computer or choose agood book from our library whilst enjoying your choice of relaxing music. Or maybe you are more of the active type? preferring an invigorating workout in our newly equipped exclusive Bellamy Gym.

Northumbria caravan parks are a traditional and important part of English culture. Heathergate Country Park sits amongst a magnitude of historical sites, acres of greenery, winding country lanes, rivers and mountainous regions. It also has easy links to the bustling city life of nearby Newcastle.

A drink and meal in a convivial rural pub can serve as great R&R after a hike in the beautiful North Pennines before heading back to the pristine site with its picturesque holiday homes. Then tomorrow you can go fishing in the River Coquet, visit a local art gallery or play a round of golf on one of Northumberland’s fine courses. The Roman Britain defensive fortification Hadrian’s Wall also runs nearby across the rich but tranquil countryside.
