AVOID! This place at all costs I had really bad experience with this company. I will never go back there. I was having problems with my gearbox. I took my car to Ian he confirmed that the gearbox was causing problems so he stripped the gearbox and rebuilt it. When I went to pay him he did not accept card payment, only cash. What shocked me is that he did not provide a proper receipt. The job he did on my gearbox was absolutely terrible. I had to take my car back to him several times and each time he returned the car there were more and more problems, he kept on refusing and saying that there was nothing wrong with the gearbox and started arguing with me. So I took my car to two different automatic gearbox specialists after test driving the car. They were shocked and confirmed the gearbox was not repaired properly there was more faults each time when i went back to them. They helped me out more than Ian did. They were more supportive. Every time I took my car back to Ian, I tried explaining to him politely, the gearbox is causing more problems if you could have a look, he was so rude, disrespectful, starting to raise his voice at me, showing a bad attitude. He didn't want to listen to my issues he took the keys of me he wanted to identify the issues by him self and not listen to any of my concerns. My gearbox is still causing problems. I have to get rid of my car now. I will give this place a 0 Star rating.
Had a few issues with my car starting off with the ABS sensor which I had been having issues with for a while so I got it diagnosed by Ian who was very friendly and knowledgeable, explained everything to me what was going on. A few days later I had problems with my transmission and again Ian was straight to it and got it sorted along with the sensor. He was super helpful and I definitely recommend and will return if I need to. Thanks Ian!!Service: Transmission
Performed a DSG mechatronic repair on my car came with a 12 months unlimited mileage warranty. They came to collect the car so they could repair it. This was done swiftly all while keeping me informed. They gave me a great price and these guys really do know what they’re doing. massive thanks to ian.Service: Transmission

We have used this company- more specifically Ian for some time. My partner has continued to listen to his advice and the vehicle has never felt right. Since going to another garage we have discovered serious problems with the vehicle. I strongly recommend finding a different company to help you.
Ian’s customer service skills needs improving dramatically, my experience with him was dreadful will never go back to him or this company again. Look elsewhere! If possible I would give him 0 stars.

Avoid! So, gearbox went on my van - got a recovery vehicle to take to this place. Manager went out of his way to help at first, giving me a reconditioned gearbox and then telling me the clutch needed replacing. Not being the mechanic, I accepted his word and never questioned his capabilities. Work was completed earlier than expected and I collected my van. I was given a one year guarantee regardless of mileage… Remember that bit So I drove 10 miles to my house and all seemed great. I woke for work the next morning and started my way off to work to find after only 30 / 40 odd miles - my gears were stuck in first and second and I could do nothing about it. After losing out on another day of work, the garage arranged a recovery and I went there to find that it could fixed in seconds. I was then told it was nothing to do with clutch or gears but a clutch cable don’t the word clutch seem random in that?? and that it passed a road test not for me 12 hours later. My mobile mechanic was flabbergasted that it went so quick!!! I queried whether my loss of earnings may be taken into account as this fault I didn’t feel laid at my door… this is where I said about that magic guarantee.. Managers mood changed and thought I was taking liberties. Before telling that I can have cables for nothing hold up, should they not have been fitted originally?? It’s like a boiler being installed with new rads in a new house but leaving old pipe work and valves!!? So needless to say we didn’t agree - he basically slammed the door in my face, but then text to say he’d do the work free of charge on a day which I can’t do alas I do have to work! also reminding me he paid for the second recovery.. ‍ Why all the attitude when, as a business if you give your word in this case a Year’s guarantee then you should honour it and admit to when you’ve made a fault. We’ve all done it & that wasn’t the annoyance. The grievance comes from not giving a toss. Will never use them again, shame as Ian seemed proper genuine before I asked for a partial refund.Service: Transmission
