Story

Welcome to Hays Travel Sidmouth, where I am proud to be the Manager. I have been working in the travel industry since leaving school and originally joined the company in 2007. I have also worked on board Royal Caribbean International & Azamara Club Cruises for three years cruising various destinations including Alaska, Hawaii and the Caribbean. My favourite destination has to be the South Pacific and in particular Bora-Bora and Moorea.

Let me introduce you to the rest of the team: Debbie our Assistant Manager has been in travel for over 20 years and has travelled on many family holidays within Europe, not to mention visiting the East & West coast of USA & Austalia. Debbie’s favourite so far is the Grand Canyon. Liz has been with the company since 2008. She has visited many destinations worldwide, many of her trips being with adventure companies. She is a Safari expert and her most recent safari was in Botswana. Carrie is a former manager of another local travel agency. She has an extensive knowledge of travel and destinations and now enjoys taking family holidays with her 2 year old.

Faye is our resident Ski expert and once again travelled to Western Canada. She has travelled to China, New York, Switzerland, Croatia, Cyprus, Finland, Lanzarote, Puglia region of Italy and her favourite Iceland. Laura our 2nd year apprentice has travelled to Prague, various areas of Spain and Disney Land Paris. One of our newest member to the team and has joined through our new ‘Travel Academy’ is Lauren, she has back packed and worked throughout Australia and New Zealand in turn visiting Bali and her favourite destination Fiji. Rachael is our youngest member of the team, she has just started her 1st year Apprenticeship and is keen to learn and to meet all our lovely customers. Any finally we have Sue who is our Foreign Exchange Consultant, working in travel has definitely given Sue the ‘travel bug’ she has visited Croatia and Majorca in the past 4 months.

We are very proud to have won many awards including 'Best Staff Efficiency' for 2013, Branch of the Year in 2012 and runners up for Branch of the Year in 2013. We specialise in all types of holidays, from world cruises and round the world trips of a lifetime, to short breaks in the UK and Attraction Breaks. Between us all we have covered most of the world and experienced many different cruise lines. We offer competitive rates for Foreign Exchange from our branch and give preferential rates to our customers.
