Immediate CEO Action Required: Risk of Public Escalation Over Unresolved Financial Dispute I am compelled to share our distressing experience with Hays, particularly concerning our interactions with the Malaysian office under the supervision of Mr. David Hedges and HR Associate Consultant Teoh Sullin. Since March 20th, 2024, we have been attempting to resolve discrepancies associated with one of the invoices but have faced a disturbing lack of communication and inappropriate threats without any satisfactory resolution. Efforts to escalate this matter to the regional and UK customer service teams have met with silence, exacerbating our concerns and leaving us with no choice but to seek public avenues to express our dissatisfaction. For the second time, we sent this complaint to the UK customer service, hoping it will be forwarded to the CEO. However, they then escalated the matter to the team in Malaysia for review. This means that the complaint letter did not reach the CEO. That's why I have to post this on Google reviews.The segmented approach to handling client issues not only undermines our trust but starkly contradicts the professionalism expected from an internationally recognized firm like Hays. Direct Message to CEO, Mr. Dirk Hahn: Mr. Hahn, your direct intervention is urgently required to address this systemic issue that threatens Hays’ reputation and our continued partnership. We have reached out through multiple channels without success, and it is imperative that this matter be resolved promptly and effectively. A failure to engage with us will necessitate further public disclosures and may lead us to reconsider our business relationship with Hays. We hope this review will prompt a swift and decisive response from the highest level at Hays to turn around this situation and demonstrate that Hays values its clients and upholds the highest standards of service.

Wouldn't waste your time, promised to send job description through nothing been sent, called me yet don't bother email me asking who called I have been signed up for hays for about 8 months 0 interviews arranged whereas if you apply directly to companies you van easily arrange interviews. I wouldn't waste your time
Charlie Dixon is a professional recruitment consultant who managed to help me get in contact with the people I needed. From initial phone call to delivery, it took less than an hour to find what I needed.
Waste of time. Unless you are an easy placement happy to go along with any old job you are offered, they will soon brush you under the carpet. Wasted my time going in for a meeting with them that seemed promising only to never hear anything again and have my emails completely ignored. They’ll talk up your chances and make it seem good when really they do nothing.
They get you in for a chat and make promises that they'll put you forward for suitable positions. If you're lucky, they'll phone you after to let you know that they're waiting to hear back from the employer. Then...nothing..... you'll end up hearing from them several months down the line phishing for information about where you're currently working so they can try and build some contacts. This is obviously with the intention of trying to drum up some business. Joanna Spence seems to be the most dodgy one working there. Just avoid the place like the plague!!
I have been currently working two part-time jobs for the past month and a half now and i signed onto Hays recruitment many months back as my auntie recommended it. It is now November and they have only just sent an email about a job recommendation. Rather useless, wouldn't recommend to a friend or family member.
Cannot recommend Lauren from the Office Support Department more! This is the only agency im with that actually kept me up to date with roles even when there wasn't any which wasn't very often! and placed me in a long term temp ole after just 2 weeks of signing up and placed me in the perfect Perm role not even 1 month after starting the temp role! they really do go out of their way. Lauren called me at least 2ce a day with updates - a massive change compared to the other agencies that haven't contacted me more than twice each in 2 months. RECOMMEND!!!
Very poor agency. Matt D, who was my education consultant, didn't find any work for me. I spent money on a new DBS which was a complete waste of time. This was over a year ago. Zero emails. I did try to go into a new field through hays as they were advertising work in marketing. Once again, no response. Since then I've joined JustTeachers. Far more professional and caring. DO NOT SIGN UP TO HAYS.
What use to be the best agency turned into one of the worst over these years. Full of self-centered, pompous individuals who have never done any real work themselves. They will pretend they care and lie to you. I believe most 5 star reviews are from their own staff and if you want to see what this agency is really about, see Trustpilot reviews for Hays.
