I bought a book online from this bookshop via Abebooks. The service was exceptional: I  received an email to thank me for my purchase and to give details of delivery. The book arrived very promptly and was expertly packaged. The book itself is quite rare, it is in excellent condition and the price was very reasonable. I can thoroughly recommend this shop. Absolutely delighted.

This place is WILD - I truly believe I have never seen so many books in once place. I think the books are referenced and sorted really well, although this did highlight where some areas were lacking the esoteric section was a little slim, this isn't the shop's fault at all, just that some shelves look a little lonely Vs other shelves! I really appreciated the section on TV and theatre, featuring a lot of older books that are harder to find now. You could lose yourself in here for hours, and I would recommend doing so!

Hay Cinema Bookshop contains an unimaginable amount of used books. It has maps to help you locate what you are looking for and on shelf directions to stock located elsewhere. They have a book sending option too. There are books of all genres and price ranges. This shop is well organised and a pleasure to browse and buy from. Highly recommended.

Its the biggest bookshop in Hay-on-Wye and you could possibly find all genres of books and they do have a massive collection. The person who was the reception was a nice man who helped me in finding books.nI loved the bookshop .nI went in the Boxing day and the shop was open from 11.30 - 16.00 pm and it was the only one which was open.

Highly recommended and competitively priced on both remaindered and second hand books. Wheelchair access is likely to be an issue and the organisation can make finding some material difficult but staff are very helpful.
