I am a keen advocate of locally sourced fresh seasonal produce. I moved to this area a few days ago from rural Shropshire and was keen to find local, quality suppliers. I arrived at Haven Farm Shop at 15.05 knowing the shop closed at 16.00 according to the website. As we stepped across the threshold we were greeted with, ‘I’m just about to lock up,’ no greeting or apology and we literally turned around and returned to the car. This was very annoying as, according to the website we still had 55 minutes before it closed. I had planned to stock up for the week spending a reasonable amount of money. He has taught me that I will now look elsewhere even if it increases my carbon footprint just to find a modicum of customer service. Oh any by the way, the website also falsely advertises a tearoom that doesn’t exist. I MISS SHOPSHIRE!!!!

Always has fresh local veg and fruit. There wide selection of local produce sausages, bacon and meats. Great value too.

This is a very well run farm shop and post office by really nice people. They value local producers and have a healthy stock of meat, cheeses, breads and fruit and veg. Even crisps and chocolate are produced locally. A hidden gem.
