The car was booked in for 2 tyres and a wing mirror. Upon arrival, I also advised them that the service due now warning had come on despite the last service being around 2,500 miles ago. They thought it was an oil dilution issue but would look into it. Despite dropping the car off around 8:30 it took nearly 4 hours to seek authority for the tyres and was only completed at 5pm. 9 hours to swap two front tyres. The lorry that had the mirror was stuck in traffic at 8am and never showed with the mirror apparently. When I asked about the service warning, they thought it wasn’t being dine that day despite saying they would look into it. I waited for the complementary clean and left in the dark. The next day I noticed or should I say discovered my discovery had lost its y letter. I drive off and noticed someone had left it on my dash. So clearly came off in the workshop or more likely the valet and no one told me or tried to reattach it. Overall terrible service and means I have waste another day bringing the car back for all the work they missed. Update: Despite the response asking for me to make contact via email, they haven’t responded or even acknowledged the email.Service: General repairs & maintenance
Joanna at reception honestly needs a promotion she is the best. Amazing service, such a warm reception when you call. She will chase the service advisors for me if I don’t hear back. She goes above and beyond her role. I believe she would make a great service advisor and should be promoted as her customer service skills is 10/10 and always so friendly and welcoming. The service used to be great at Harwoods Croydon service but unfortunately anyone good that cares about customer experience and the service given don’t last and move on to other jobs. The experience can be very much hit and miss depending who you get given as your service advisor. Chris who thankfully left now was terrible and never ever call you back or update you. Frazer who replaced him has been good overall but now sadly leaving after a short time. The new manager needs to work on improving customer experience and retaining good staff who cares.
Much improved experience. Georgia was amazing to deal with. Very nice and welcoming. She was very thorough and kept me updated about my car. She also sorted out extended warranty repair which I’m very grateful for. Technicians also seem to have done a very good job. Lee Fletcher foreman has helped me recently on a couple of occasions. If there is anything Lee doesn’t know about Land Rover it’s not worth knowing. Such a knowledgeable, professional, lovely chap. Neither time I have been booked in but Lee has still popped out to help. One issue was my key battery, the other quickly checking the cabin filters before a long journey as there was a very odd smell in the car. Couldn’t recommend Lee highly enough, so helpful and such a lovely way about him. He really does go above and beyond for his customers. I wouldn’t trust my car with anybody else.
I noticed a payment of over £600 taken from my account, using my card, with 2 further payments scheduled for end of November and December, after I have paid for services in full at the point of the service. I have sent emails and tried to contact them, but no response. My emails were sent to 4 different people. Appalling service. Been using this garage since 2014, and in the last 3 years, I’ve seen a steady decline in their customer service.Took my car in for service and MOT about a month ago. Shelby was assigned as my service advisor. First she insinuated I requested some part of my service should not be done at booking. I am not that versed with car parts to be specific about certain things not being done, despite me saying I didn’t know what she was talking about, she and a colleague insisted I must’ve requested that. So, not off to a good start. The loan car was filthy, with some sticky stuff on the steering wheel and around the inside of the car, empty can of coke and used tissue in the drivers door compartment. Thankfully I had antiseptic wipes and gloves on me so had to wipe the inside down and clear the rubbish before driving off. As I was heading to work for the Morning, I really didn’t have time to argue or complain as my time had been wasted already. This was followed by a catalogue of incompetence and sheer rudeness. To mention a few, not notifying me on time when my car was ready, 24 hours later than planned and expecting me to drop everything and be there immediately to pick my car, because they need the loan car. I work in a sensitive area, we had discussed this, I am not able to answer my calls immediately but will return calls ASAP. Tried to return phone calls, but no one available, so I could make payment and my car can be dropped for me at work and the loan car picked up, as I wasn’t finishing work until 7pm This is 24 hours after the car was due to be ready, and I’d taken the afternoon off on the day and the following morning off too, to allow me time to return the car and pick mine if there was a delay. Then being threatened via email, that the insurance will seize if it’s not returned immediately, to which I responded I could leave the car at work and they can arrange to pick it from there. Also Shelby contacted my partner without my consent and asking him to pay for my car. This is after she had questioned if I had let him drive the loan car, when the insurance doesn’t cover him, totally out of the blue and very bemusing. After I refused to deal with Shelby, a manager finally emails me and we make arrangements to drop my car and pick the loan car the following day, after I paid in full over the phone. No apologies from Shelby or really anyone taking responsibility. I made the payment and the car swaps was organised. Up till now I have still had no response about the payment taken from my account, it hasn’t been returned, basically my emails have not been acknowledged.Service: General repairs & maintenance
I usually desist from writing bad reviews as I like businesses and people being given a good chance. However, I have had a terrible experience with this service centre. My car went in for repairs last Tuesday, 20-Sep. I was sent the usual the health check and an estimates report with no target of completion. I called on Wednesday to check if the car was ready. No one returned my call, I again called on Thursday without call backs, I called on Friday without call backs. On Friday evening, I get a message to collect my car. I went in on Saturday, 24-Sep. After taking the payment in excess of £1400, the service advisor informed me that the exact error for which I had taken my car in is still showing and it takes me over one hour to reach this service centre from where I live. The car is again in workshop as of today with no further update.Services: Auto engine diagnostic
Scott made sure my customer experience was like no other. From reminding me the day before of my service, to meeting me on arrival with coffee and a run thru of what I should expect. After my health report came in he called me to make sure I understood what needing fixing and advised me on how to go about it. Then informed me my car was ready to collect with a free clean inside and out with the necessary paperwork and a firm handshake to send me on my way. From the moment I got there to the moment I left, a wonderful experience. Reception was outstanding, offered beverages. Was greeted by Scott Golding .. very professional. I was there for 2 hours but was updated constantly with the progress of my car by Scott . Definitely well looked after . I would rate the service 10/10 Best of all I was given a beautiful pen and travel mug before I left . Thank you for delivering outstanding customer care ..
Went for assistance on infotainment and technical advice. Elle arranged an appointment with Lee who was extremely helpful and answered all my questions in a very clear easy way for me to understand. Topped up a tyre whilst there. Wonderful service. Great team who are very helpful.Service: Tires
Scott was quick and thorough in getting my Range Rover seen to. He communicated with me at all times and the Coolant was roped up instantly meaning I was in and out within 10 minutes.
