Never have I experienced more attentive and friendly staff special mention to Lauren. Nothing was too much bother and all staff went out of their way to make our visit great! Free Salad bar is a bonus and although you can no longer add things yourself, the staff are very generous with the portions. I had steak sandwich which was nice but the four stars and not five are because the bun was slightly soggy at the bottom and the steak a little fatty. Would definitely return!
We booked a table for a lovely family meal out and the seven of us were sat at a big round table where we were looked after my Gary. The food was great! First time in a decade that I've had a good meal from a Harvester. All the staff were polite, the salad bar was in a fantastic condition and well stocked. The meat on the main meal was succulent and tasty I had the second to largest Chicken and Ribs meal. Desserts were really nice too and didn't taste of over sugared whipped cream. We had seen that Gary was having a tough shift with everything from wrong orders sent out from the bar to glasses being hid in menus and getting smashed. Despite all of this Gary remained smiling, polite and kept a great sense of humour. If we didn't live out of the area we would return frequently and we hope that both this Harvester and others, continue to cherish such staff members. and don't forget that a little tip for good service can go a long way. Kid-friendliness: Superb. Parking: Need better / more disabled spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: I am disabled, I didn't use my wheelchair, but the establishment was very well equipped. Dietary restrictions: One of the children is dairy protein intolerant and was very well catered for
Had a lovely experience here today at lunch time. I took my Mum as we had a 50% off voucher. We both had a steak sandwich which was lovely! The salad bar is always a massive hit with us! Such a good variety! Our waiter today was Gary and he was a great guy! It was clearly too busy for the amount of staff working at that time but he made sure that we felt welcome and we were served quickly and he had a smile on his face. Thank you Gary for making our visit a pleasant experience!
Visited here with my family for breakfast. We all enjoyed our food. The staff were friendly and the service was great! We didn't wait too long for food either, which was great as we had 2 young kiddies which were given colouring packs which occupied them and the adults will be returning again very soon. Vegetarian options: We were offered this option but were all meat eaters. Kid-friendliness: Colouring packs offered Teddy machines on premises. Parking: Parking was ok. You need to add your registration when you enter the building Dietary restrictions: Was offered this option.
Booked last minute for Monday night , as was staying locally , was lady you show me to a table, then I was served by a guy called Luke, I must say it was pleasant and polite , very helpful and he felt like he enjoyed his work and happy to do whatever to please me and also everyone he was serving Food was good and I doubled up on a few items as I felt rather hungry ,, but admit I left some to make room for my desert been 20 years since I’d been here ,, and won’t leave it so long next time , great work all , thank you
My husband and I shared a lovely breakfast together last weekend. We hadn't booked but the staff found us a table straight away. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to help. Our main server was 'Natasha' who we found to be helpful, polite and very obliging. The food came out quickly even though they were very busy. Everything was as we ordered and came out piping hot. Great service and we will definitely be returning. Well done all
Friendly welcome and fabulous food. Gluten free available. Prompt service, unlike local Beefeater. Warm building. Served by Natasha again, who remembers you even weeks since last visit. 50% off offer day and busy but lovely staff. The chefs knows how to cook thanks Wheelchair accessibility: Flat access Dietary restrictions: Gluten free variety of food available and Chocolate Fudge cake lovely.
Had lunch from value 2 or 3 courses menu which had some good varied choices, couldn't fault anything food and free salad bar a bonus.Food: 4/5

Went for coffee about 1130am. Not many customers and fewer staff. Eventually greeted and shown to seating area. Coffee was made by barman and was fine. He was friendly and efficient and the place was clean and tidy. No complaints just what we needed and expected.
