First time visitor and hopefully a last time visitor. Nowhere to park when visiting, was told by a member of staff to park in the nearby morrisons because its free for 2 hours.nnSeemed busy inside. Relatively clean. They do have disabled access ramps.nSituated right across from Hartlepool town centre.nNothing much else to add.
Highways planning have made Wooler Road and Elwick Road an arterial road through the town but there is no evidence of management of these roads, no speed calming or enforcement, I fear a child will be killed before any observance is given. Reporting of failed street lighting here goes ignored and if it was not for those unpaid and no good pension hero members of the public who go out cleaning up the streets and cutting grass in communal areas, this town with Council Tax 3 times that of Westminster, would be a complete mess. I'm sure there are some hard working council individuals with some excellent performance but overall Hartlepool council have an appalling record for looking after the heritage the Victorians gifted us with, it's shameful.
First tine visting seaton carew today.nThe place is really nice.nBut the fact you are charging 30p for every use of a public toilet which we already pretty much pay our taxes its an absaloute joke.
Absolutely the most incompetent bunch of people you could ever hope to run in to.nnCouncil tennent.nAsbestos in loft, been waiting 5 years ish to be sorted.nnHouse is damp, took over a year to get a damp treatment which was done only in 1 room where it was the worst.nnBoiler broke down, attempted repairs on 5 separate occasions and I had to phone again today because instead of repairing my thermostat they disabled it, took it and didn't bother telling me.nnMade several complaints over 7 years of living here and yet to have an actual apology or any accountability on the part of the council.nnThis is just the tip of the iceberg.nThis is how they discharge their duty of care to a registered vulnerable and disabled person.
I am a private tenant and hartlepool council has been out to my house and seen the property on a few occasions and for months on end I have left massage after massage for them to contact me since November last year I had a solicitor involved with it them are well aware of it and my landlord work for council
