Many subjects covered including Art, Antiques, Architecture, Archaeology, Biographies, Children’s Books, History, Hunting, Literature Studies, Local Interest, Plays, Poetry, Science Fiction, Sport, Text Books, Travel & Topography, Maps & Prints etc. We also sell hundreds of crime & general fiction paperbacks at just £1.50 each in our shop. We also buy books from the general public so you're welcome to call us with details of what you'd like to sell."

My daughter visited this store with her partner today. They love books so they wanted to take a look around. The owner of this store started to question my daughter about why she was there, which specific book was she there for and that this store isn’t for young people, but it’s for BOOK people. You, owner, made my daughter and her partner feel so uncomfortable they had leave and all because you believe they are too young to be in your store. They are both heading to university in a few months, god forbid they should touch a book there.
Brilliant bookshop, loads of fascinating books that you won't find anywhere else. Bring credit cards and bags/boxes. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to help find that book on plant propagation in Peru or orange London buses. Fab place, go there now or one day you will regret it.
It's wonderful to see a traditional bookshop still surviving in this Internet world. Fantastic range of new and second hand books. Could spend all day in there browsing. Just the best book shop in the area. Always has something a bit different in stock. Can I give him six stars?
The service experience I received has been excellent. A recent purchase via Abebooks was exactly as described, sensibly priced, quickly despatched and very well packaged. I will certainly look out for Harrowden the next time I'm book hunting. Highly recommended.
Mike is an excellent bookseller. His secondhand stock is consistently good in terms of quality, choice and price. His online service is also very good.
A welcoming owner, lots of interesting - and very clean - stock, with everything nicely labelled and presented. A superb bookshop that offers an excellent range to suit many different people. A real find and well worth a visit.
Am overdue another visit - I generally come away with a book or 3 or 4, 5.... A well laid out shop, friendly welcome, good quality stock in excellent condition for the most part, and more often than not, fairly priced. Well worth popping in.
