Edward and Alan are part of the “dream team” of rental Agents They have handled my rental property for several years and I couldn’t hope for better service. The attention to detail and support they gave me during my first forage into the rental market has been second to none. I firmly believe they manage to look after the interests not only of the Landlord but the Tenants as well. Five star service is a reality from this Company. Thanks guys!
Alan, What a great agent! So supportive and understanding of my situation. Went above and beyond to assist me in renting a property. All for me to have to decline due to unforseen circumstances, which I feel awful about as the service and personable approach is one that I have not experienced before with agents. My holding deposit was returned to me the same day I explained my situation as to why I couldn't go forward with the rental. Such an amazing experience with this agency! So impressed. VERY VERY BAD experience BEWARE! See photo evidence attached. Harrisons of New Milton will reply to this denying this collective, family review. Horror story damp issues in their badly rented property! BEWARE! Harrison’s in New Milton managed for a private landlord. 1. DAMP and mound everywhere... When we viewed this property we saw a dehumidifier in the dinning room. We asked if there had been any damp issues. The lady from Harrison’s told us "no problems with damp at all". She also told my partner the same when he viewed the property. We felt completely let down and misled when soon after moving in we experienced HORRENDOUS damp problems. We called in environmental health and Harrison rapidly got builders in to fit vents in the main roof as the ventilation was poor in the property. 2. ELECTRIC SHOCKS... I had a big electric shock from a light switch. The light switch unit was replaced very quickly after reporting it to Harrison's. One month later my partner had a BIG electric shock from the same switch. I questioned Harrison's and asked if the wiring had been checked and they said "oh no just the plastic switch has been replaced". They then investigated further find faulty wiring, surprise surprise. Harrison's were quick to respond BUT...This property was cheaply maintained, not safe to let. There was even tarmac subsidence in the front drive/garden area of the property too. Harrison's would do better to avoid clients such as this. I'm sure that Harrison's will reply to this with their very “copy and paste” stock answers about managing condensation and having the heating on and windows open but this was another level of damp. The attic was a sea of green mound on top of the loft insulation because of poor ventilation. It’s a shame it took 8 months and lots of stress to get this sorted. The fact is Harrison's you caused us a lot of alarm and distress for a year of our lives and let me, my partner and our little 4 year old girl down BIG TIME! Harrisons have responed and tried to brush this review off BUT future customers must know that this is NOT the way to do business and should check the property and the landlords letting standards before it goes on the market! We sincerely hope that no other family has this experience. AVOID! At all costs!
The service from Harrison’s was up and beyond the usual received from Estate Agents. They could not do enough to help and regularly kept me informed as to how far my sale had progressed. I would recommend them to anyone who needs the services of an Estate Agent. It was a pleasure do be represented by them
We rented through Harrisons and the whole time we rented it was a 5 star experience from start to finish. Edward really did go above and beyond to help us! Whenever there was a problem with the property he would get it sorted as quick as possible and at the highest standard! Thank you so much for all the support you gave our family during our time renting from you !
Me and my Husband have been renting from Harrisons for almost 3 years now and have found them absolutely brilliant! Any problem was sorted as quickly as they could, I was kept updated on any issues by email and Edward has even phoned at 9pm well after office hours to check we were okay when our power was out knowing our baby was 2 months old. Literally couldn't have asked for better service or more caring people which is what you want as moving is stressful enough already! We've even stayed with them moving into our 2nd property from Harrisons and Alan especially made that a very smooth process. In short I can't recommend Harrisons enough! The whole team is fantastic but Alan is definitely my favourite he is very professional, friendly and has a great sense of humour.
