Stay well away, completely unprofessional unethical company.  Phoned and emailed after an initial meeting got no response and then got sent a letter with huge bill for work not requested or discussed with no discussion of price beforehand.

Definitely would stay clear of this company.  Myself and my partner dealt with Alex one of the partners, concerning family issues with his ex wife.  Not client friendly ie.. rude, obnoxious, disinterested, left feeling exasperated after our meeting.  Avoid!

This firm provided me with an inadequate professional service, as ruled by the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission.  Alan Susskind was the solicitor concerned, in a Child Residency/ Contact matter,  but Harper Macleod's Client Relations Manager, Prof Robert Rennie, a horrible man who appears to have no conscience whatsoever,, shamefully tried every 'below the belt trick in the book' to get Harper Macleod off the hook when dealing with my complaint, instead of doing the decent thing and admitting that Harper Macleod had made a massive mistake.  This would have reduced my stress immensely.  Everything about this company, from my experience, is dodgy.  Think very carefully about dealing with these unprofessionals.  They could ruin your lives too.
