Monday Lunchtime, thought food would be nice and fresh, waited for fish and chips to be cooked, went home to eat, opened up lge chips and cod and chips, how disappointing, chips looked dry and portion was full of small scrappy bits, regular cod was also poor, not very white and flakes, batter soft and soggy and very oily, the worst £15 pound ever spent. Is it really that difficult to cook decent fish and chips, Could not be bothered to complain and take them back, my fault I know. Will just vote with my feet and not go back.
Very expensive, very small potions. I Had a savers meal and got about 10 chips for about £7.25. Then tried to say that they had already given me my drink and hadn't. I tried to buy another sashay of mayo with cash to be told they only take cash in emergencies and wouldn't take £1 cash for a 55p mayo. Food was averageFood: 3/5
Very unhappy about the portion size of a supposedly large chips! More like the size of a regular chips. So much unconsistentency in what constitutes large! Ordered a large chips from another chip shop last week and it really was huge. I don't doubt the quality just the amount you get for the money! Up your game Harlees....
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the service was nice and fast, and the fish and chips tasted lovely with great portion sizes.Food: 5/5
Portions are shockingly small. A large chips is smaller than a regular in my usual fish and chip shop. The small cod was so tiny. The tiny fish tasted nice, but the chips were awful. Online orders are prioritised, so if you walk in you have to wait forever, but online orders have an extra fee added for some reason. Just a terrible service!
Had two pies, that had very little filling and the pastry was like cardboard. A regular portion of chips that cost £3-30. They were cold and got about a dozen. To cap it all, waited 25 minutes. Very poor, wouldn't recommend. Today 5.00pm.Food: 1/5
I paid £14.10 for large fish and chips. Wasn't nice tbh. Think it's cheap oil and definitely don't get your money's worth , in my opinion. Me and my kids got 3 small portions. Kids , didn't eat all. So must of tasted off to them as my kids love chips and especially love a takeaway. Either way , lesson learnt on why I don't buy takeaway and only support Turkish food. Definitely should of read the reviews first, before buying as the reviews Definitely don't lie.
Been using Harlees for years but recently they have seriously dropped the ball. This was the 2nd time in a row that the Chips have been appalling, looking like left overs from the day before. Highly disappointed so now its time to use Daniel's in Broadstone Food: 1/5
Fish missing from collection order. Overflowing with unordered chips. Whole order stone cold. Suggest better attention to what you are doing.Food: 1/5
Tried to order on line was told 7 10, 7 20, 7 30, 7 40 times were not available walked to shop only 2 people there ordered buy 7 30 nobody came to collect an order my order came went home and it was delicious but really annoyed that you have set up an app but it doesn’t work.Food: 4/5
