Very friendly staff, informed and helpful. Have not stayed here but use the pool regularly and it's wonderfully warm, apparently due to rehab classes held here. Very clean, with showers to use before and after swimming. The pool is 10m so if you're after endurance swimming this may be limiting, but great for the social swimmer or parent. The staff are helpful, and nothing seems too much trouble. Fantastic views from the pool too, over the estuary, over to Axmouth village and the harbour. Can't recommend this place enough. Keep up the good work!

This family-run establishment was perfect for my three day stay in Devon. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious hearty English breakfast, a spacious and clean room and an ideal location with a fantastic view! No, it ain't The Ritz, folks, but it is a comfortable and reasonably-priced place to stay in one of the most beautiful areas in England. With a view of the Axe estuary, Seaton, and the Channel beyond, "Peacehaven" deserves its name. While just off a major road (which makes it easy to find), you'll only hear the sheep and birds through your large picture windows. There's a fine, indoor, pool which offers swimming lessons to the local kids, and would be a boon to those traveling with kids. Though I was alone, my room had a comfy queen-sized bed and two bunk beds, another sign this place is great for kids. Owner, Craig, and his family were super-kind and helpful, with great tips of fun things to do in the area (there are so many). They will serve you dinner upon request, and the included "Full English" breakfast is the perfect fuel for a full and active day. If you do return before dark there are lovely indoor and outdoor hang-out areas, or you could go visit the sheep while the kids jump on the trampoline. Can't recommend this place enough for travelers seeking a convenient and comfortable base from which to explore Devon and the Jurassic Coast.

Fantastic place, I shall be going again. Being a TV star it was nice to stay out of view, really nice people and really nice food.
