Fascinating building celebrating its 250th year next year 2025. Lovely park and beautifully tended gardens around it.
Literally my favourite park ever!! Especially when the blossoms are out. I am always either here with the kids or walking about. It’s got two parks, a skate park area. Nice paths to walk on and lovely flowers. It’s very well kept by the gardeners.

Lovely well kept grounds / park,nTwo play area's, one near bandstand for the age group, 1 to 10 yrs & the other which has a skateboard section , 10 to 16 yrs ,nI would like to see The Old Waterwheel restored, shame to see this piece of history in the state its in, I remember this working in the 70's & 80's, to the rear of the waterwheel is the Monkey grave,nnThere's a cafe on the ground floor that's within a retirement complex rear of the waterwheel,nOr visit the local shops.
