Great park for dogs. We take our golden retriever there on the weekends and he plays with other dogs, it’s not fenced in but it’s really safe and they tend to stay within the park so it’s never been an issue. There’s a playground for kids, and a pond that’s independently fenced off.

Dogs allowed off the lead and most people clear up. Beautiful trees and good walks. I go there most days.

Car Park is small and walk to Main Hospital leaves lot to be desired insomuch very very muddy in rainy confitions&you need to be on lookout for Dog waste!!! It closes early 6pm i think,but this fact is not clearly'advertised'.IKnow someone who was'victim'to this but fortunately,although gates shut,not actually bolted!so beware

Great if you want a walk in the park. Not so good if you want to have a play on the swings. They really need to replace some of the equipment that has been removed.
