We were down in Glasgow for the day starting our Christmas shopping and fancied having dinner before getting the train back home. We tried booking online but they only had really late bookings due to it being a Saturday, luckily one appeared later on in the afternoon for 7pm so highly recommend booking ahead of time. Hard Rock Glasgow is located in the heart of the city on Buchanan Street, it's a rock themed restaurant with musical memorabilia dotted throughout. It had been a while since my last visit but the restaurant hasn't changed at all, still really clean, tidy and tunefully modern. Our waitress Kelly was superb, so friendly, bubbly and definitely the life and soul of the place. They have a great menu full of all your favourites but the pricing is quite high end but it is worth it for the experience and the quality of food. We had the Nachos to start which left us speechless, honestly the best we have had in a while, instead of the usual burgers/ribs we went rogue and tried some chicken/macaroni dishes which were served in no time at all, roasting hot and tasting delicious. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Glasgow or want to celebrate a special occasion. Hard Rock is definitely the place, you can even increase your bill on the way out and visit the merchandise shop... who needs desert anyway!
Great experience, only downside was the burgers we ordered were the only ones on the 2 for 1 offer....would have been nice to be advised before we ordered! Server was lovely, chatty and made the whole experience. Food was good, nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back. Gig tickets score you 15% off your bill. Book online in advance, as its often hard to get seated if you just turn up. Free to book, no deposit.
After 8 years living in Glasgow, I finally had the opportunity to visit this place. The restaurant is large with a nice ambience of chatter and good music. I was slightly disappointed in the quality and variety of the menu and food. I can't say that it was anything special and I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend to a family or friend personally. I found the food to be pretty much average average quality burger, chicken dippers, ribs, nachos. I cant say i would be back necessarily. Regardless the customer service was top notch. The bathrooms could do with a little TLC though especially bins being emptied and toilets being cleaned.
One of the better run Hard Rock Cafes I’ve been to, and I’ve been to them all over the world. Service was top notch with our server going above and beyond to be SO nice and friendly and give us recommendations for Glasgow. Food is the consistent staples that you are used to at Hard Rock - I skipped the normal burger and went with the chicken Caesar this time. Layout of the restaurant is a bit wonky and I can imagine during busy times it’s a bit loud, but it was fine. Minimal local memorabilia which is a bummer but somewhat the norm these days!
My first time visiting a Hard Rock Cafe, a friend of mine with me visits as many as she can. The atmosphere is definitely different and unique which made a nice change. I'd say it's a more adult version of TGI and less in your face which is welcome. The music was a little loud for me but different to the norm. Now the food...we tried x2 of the original burgers, x2 of the Glasgow burger, a vegan burger and some nachos. The nachos were amazing, cheese sauce was so good and better than a normal nachos with melted cheese and the portion was massive and shared between 4. The Glasgow burger was rated very highly. The original burger was nice and fully loaded but both of us found the patty very dry which was disappointing. The chips were excellent though! Also, really liked the take home glass policy and the milkshakes looked amazing. Would visit again or another location
Visited the Hard Rock Cafe with 3 work colleagues. The place was pretty busy when we visited, the atmosphere was pretty good. Our waitress was very polite and professional, although it did feel like she was very busy and had to wait a fairly long time to get our first drinks and order our food. Drinks came and turned out it was happy hour all day, £2.50 for a pint of Stella, £4 for a pint of corona, not bad. Food was very good but my burger was pretty small for almost £15 could have at-least done with a few more fries. Overall experience was good but you might be best to visit when the place is not as busy to get better service.
Food is amazing. Everything tastes great. We had a fantastic server who looked after us the whole time and made the experience more enjoyable You get free glasses if you order large cocktails, check the menu to see which ones apply. Doesn't matter how many you large drinks you order you only get a free glass with the first round. They're classed as top ups after that
Had a lovely experience at the HRC Glasgow! We had the Veganuary menu which had amazing options! The tacos and Bruschetta were our faves. Would love to see the Veganuary options to be added permanently or at the very least a few of them added to the main menu. Big shout out to John Dad who was our server for the evening. He was lovely and very attentive! He made the experience more enjoyable!
Me and my partner went for lunch while we are in town passing through after hearing all the hype I have to say staff were lovely. We had nachos for starters it was great but we both had the burgers and they were so dry we had to complain even the staff noticed how dry they ware. Very disappointing on the plus side the manager took the burgers off our bill. For the price you are charging people really expected better quality
Thoroughly enjoyed my time in Glasgow. As a big Hard Rock fan I was apprehensive about going due to reviews. However the service and food was great granted it was quite a cool room. Food from kitchen to table can probably go cool quick as large room. I did try to buy some merchandise however their tills were down. So stopped for a bite before going to a gig. Met Kieran and some other bar staff very friendly and gave me a pin as I am a huge collector of the Hard Rock pins/magnets and key rings try to get a key ring at every hard rock as the tills were down Kieran gave me one of his pins. Was nice to chat I would recommend any Hard Rocker to visit. I'll be back in February.
