Desperately wanted to give more, but it just didn't tick all the boxes unfortunately. The staff were great; friendly, helpful and welcoming - especially the ex-cruise ship newbie sorry I didn't get your name. The decor is nicely done and the view is great. The restaurant is dog friendly always a bonus! The special of lemon sole was fab, albeit the portion was rather too generous for me, but the chips were just average & not a very good average at that. A relatively simple change that would make a big difference would be better quality napkins.
The best fish and chips we've ever had...... so good we visit twice every time we come to Falmouth for a holiday. We always eat in the restaurant overlooking the harbour, but there being always a huge queue of customers outside either waiting to place an order or to collect when it's cooked fresh, is further testament to the quality you'll find here. Service is very polite and prompt, and the place is very bright, airey and very obviously clean. Don't miss this place if you're in Falmouth for a day.
Excellent quality fish and chips enjoyed by all. I had calamari which was well presented and very tasty. Lemon sole was the dish of the day and tasted so good! Coffee was a bit weak tasting but everything else was spot on including all the Cornish produce.
I've been looking forward to visiting here during my visit to Cornwall. I can definitely say their Fish & Chips live up to the hype and their well deserved accolades! Fantastic & delicious. Perfectly crispy batter with plenty of Salt & Vinegar! Best fish and chips in Falmouth.
We had the meal deal.. chips, fish and mushy peas, bread and butter and pot of tea.. definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.. the two staff members who served us were brilliant, friendly, efficient and looked after us very well indeed.
Wow.....I have never had fish and chips like this...super light batter, very fresh fish but most importantly just not over fried. Beautiful Cornish potato chips and you MUST order the curry sauce to go with it. They use a Japanese style curry sauce. The perfect pairing.....
Had the jumbo cod and chips which was great. Very filling and also give you free refill on chios. Plus the mirrors on the way in are hilarious
Great fish and chips! Really nice! Lovely views of the boats and the surrounding area. The staff are really nice and friendly too. Though, if you want to eat in, definitely book! Especially if it's in any sort of holidays or busy season. We always come back here, it's great Food: 5/5
Best fish and chips in Falmouth. The portions are quite big, tbh I didn't expect that. I got the medium size and I couldn't finish the chips so if you are really really hungry you can finish the whole thing. We had cod and they also offer the day's catch. We took both and it was really good too. There's a lovely atmosphere and the view is amazing. The staff was really friendly.
One of the best fish and chips I've had. Portions are big so even though they offer unlimited chip refills I don't think many feel the need to use it. Onion rings also came in a very hearty portion size. Service was very friendly and dessert was also pretty good but definitely not the highlight of the meal - that was the crispy fish!
