Food was great. Went here twice when we were down for a long weekend. The muscles were a generous portion and very big and tasty. Only had seafood here and it was all good. If you are there in peak season I would recommend making a booking
Absolutely amazing! I didn’t expect much from a sea side inn but we were blown away! Especially having eaten somewhere quite posh the day before which didn’t live up to its reviews- we couldn’t believe the skill of the chef! Never tasted anything like it! We had the catch of the day- gurnard which was so beautifully presented and exquisite flavours with leek and bacon fricasse and pea croquette with shoe string fries- wow! The chocolate pudding was delicious too! So lovely to be by the sea with that atmosphere! morris dancing outside, dog welcome and fast service. Couldn’t speak more highly of the place. Will definitely recommend to friends and return some day! Thanks for a lovely evening! Stunning local art on the walls too!
Pricey but lovely for a treat. I had lovely veg lasagne with v good chips, salad. Of particular note was the treacle tart with a generous amount of clotted cream which was very yummy indeed!
We had a truly fantastic evening at the Harbour Inn last night. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm, friendly smiles — the barmen were especially great, full of charm and happy to chat, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.nnWe sat out on the terrace, and it was absolutely perfect. Looking out toward the iconic Golden Cap as the sun set was nothing short of spectacular — easily one of the best coastal views we’ve experienced in the UK. The harbour setting is peaceful, scenic, and the ideal backdrop for a relaxing evening.nnDinner was delicious — the Chicken Kiev was cooked to perfection, golden and crispy on the outside, with rich, garlicky flavour inside. Everything was clearly made with care.nnWhether you’re after a delicious meal, a quiet drink with a view, or just want to unwind somewhere beautiful, the Harbour Inn delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back — a true gem on the coast!
Went to this lovely pub/ restaurant 4 years ago so thought we’d give it another go tonight as we are in the area. As amazing as last time! All home made food as well as being economical: two courses, glass of wine and two double whiskey and lemonades:nCost:67! Stunning!nI recommend the homemade pie
