It is well placed close to the Cobb and has lots of seating. Quite a good atmosphere during the day. Three of us eat there all having the same, two thought the fish and chips were ok, one was disappointed. Not much of an exaggeration to say that one of the fish portions was more batter than fish. The chips were not the best we have eaten. For the price we expected better but I guess you are paying for the location. However, the staff were really helpful and friendly.
We came along for the valentines set menu which didn’t disappoint. Really tasty, good choices. Our two 11 year olds enjoyed the regular kids menu and dipping into our tasty Hors d'oeuvres and sharing our delicious desserts. The profiteroles and panna- cotta were so scrummy. My husband enjoyed the beef and I delighted in the seafood ramen. Very much an enjoyable evening and good value for money. Can’t say we’ve ever been disappointed at the Harbour Inn
My partner and I had a lovely Valentine’s lunch at the Harbour Inn. The service was polite, quick and friendly. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the atmosphere was good. Everyone was happily enjoying their delicious food.nI requested a table by the window and we were given a lovely table by the window.nWe hadn’t been to the Harbour Inn before, but we will definitely be going again.
The food was amazing!! The mussels were so delicious, the chips were the best, and the food was extremely tasty!! Would definitely come again.
Absolutely amazing! I didn’t expect much from a sea side inn but we were blown away! Especially having eaten somewhere quite posh the day before which didn’t live up to its reviews- we couldn’t believe the skill of the chef! Never tasted anything like it! We had the catch of the day- gurnard which was so beautifully presented and exquisite flavours with leek and bacon fricasse and pea croquette with shoe string fries- wow! The chocolate pudding was delicious too! So lovely to be by the sea with that atmosphere! morris dancing outside, dog welcome and fast service. Couldn’t speak more highly of the place. Will definitely recommend to friends and return some day! Thanks for a lovely evening! Stunning local art on the walls too!
