Dropped in, made order for 4 adults, waited about 15mins. Fair prices 20p added to everything due to supplier increases Food was really good. Would definitely recommend.
We only went in because the pub/restaurant we had hoped to eat at turned us away, but we ended up glad they did! What we ordered was not ridiculously expensive, the lady serving was lovely, and very helpful, and we only had about a ten minute wait. When we got back home 17 miles away, the food was still piping hot. It was very good and compares very well to other Chinese restaurants and takeaways we've used our all-time favourite is in Gerrard Street, London. Would very definitely recommend this takeaway.
We love this place and regularly order takeaways. My favourites are shrimp sauté skewers and egg-fried rice! Gets busy on Saturdays but definitely worth the wait! Food is always freshly prepared, hot and on time!
Loved the food and loved the price. The staff are great and polite and very helpful. It does get busy as the night goes on as it's usually a 30 mins wait but after 8 it can sometimes be an hour. It shows the chief wants to do a good job and not just throw it together. Will be ordering again next time I'm in the area.
I live in Bellingham just a few minutes walk away from the takeaway and due to being rural and no competition to date it has had a captive audience. We do not have takeaway often and unfortunately more often than not we are disappointed in our orders, and only return due to no other permanent takeaway in the village. Tonight we ordered a simple chips in curry and chips in gravy, not only were the chips cold but they were also dry due to hardly any sauce on the chips which were also cold. I assume that it was not freshly cooked and instead re heated. I do not understand why it could not at least be microwaved long enough to be hot!. I did not eat it as I was so angry and disappointed at such a simple dish being of poor quality and a waste of money. The previous time we ordered we got plain rice when we ordered egg fried rice with chips in curry which again was cold. Even though there is no alternative locally at the moment, I have decided after our continual disappointment I would rather go without than waste my money again. I do hear there is an Indian due to open in the village, so hopefully we do not get the same experience there.
Chicken wasn't a nice texture, curry sauce was a peculiar taste and the gravy was black in colour and very bland. The salt and chill chips were nice.
Portion size amazing but food was not good! This is supposed to be a Vegetable Chow Mein??? Wheres the soy sauce?? Weird and gloopy like wallpaper paste

Good portions: one meal plus rice, plus chips was perfect for wife and I. Food was pleasant but I have tasted better. Not disappointed however and I would visit again.
Placed a relatively large order and they were really busy so given this place some benefit of the doubt. The salt and pepper ribs to start were really good. Ordered 6 different mains that included chicken fried rice, Kung po, crispy chicken, chow mein and a curry. The food was probably the worst Chinese In have ever tasted and there was no saving dish there. The food just had nothing about it, the sauces were tasteless, vegetables were like they had been boiled all day and the meat just tasted cheapest of the cheap. They are also quite pricey so think they should get some better ingredients. Anything that had a batter tasted floury like it had not been cooked properly. Real disappointment but fortunately just here on holiday and will not be going back
