We got a nice takeaway from happy house and we were happy i would give them 3.5 overall nice vegetarian options we got mix veg chow mien,tofu dishes and egg rice and veggie pancakes which are mini spring rolls the food was good quantity wise also sufficient for two ppl i would have given 4 stars but sweet and sour was all sweet and no sour at all which was bit disappointing other than that i found everything right.
Waited for 2 hours for a delivery on valentine's day, never turned up. When i called they said they would check with the driver, never called back. Then they said it was busy. My wife was concerned they might spit in the food so i decided to go down there to get a refund. Caught the delivery driver on his way out, he confirmed he had no deliveries for my address, when i went in the said it was on its way, until i challenged them. They apparently processed the refund transaction but gave me the merchant copy, i had to record them on video confirming they would refund the payment if it didn't go through. Ruined our valentine's and in a furious state. No food, don't know if the refund went through or not. Never again!!!! Happy house = unhappy customer If you looking for a good chinese near Redhill i recommend Phoenix's, solid service and great food and we have been using them for years. just happens that they are closed today, just my luck!
We ordered our order, clarified the order, an item turns up that we didnt want nor order. We phone back and are told she read back the order which she did and she also admitted we asked for mild salt and chilli squid , as of course no one asks for mild chips. Rude and utterly unhelpful, and I'm told I'm giving her a hard time as I didn't want to pay chips I didn't ask for , I ask to speak to someone above and im told the owner doesn't speak English and there is no manager. The ribs are salty , the chicken dry and the rest greasy , I'd give this horror show 0 stars had that been an option...

Best Chinese takeaway we’ve had in a long time. All 6 of us thought it was great. Quick service too. Placed the order and it was ready to collect in 15 minutes. Thank you Happy House.
Not even 1 star….came in and one guy was very rude and I just wanted to ask for one thing in the menu…. Horrible Be more respectful with people
The noodle dish was incorrect, despite confirming twice. Sweet-and-sour chicken balls were tough as old boots, tasted like they had been cooked more than once, as did the Crispy shredded chilli beef, which was too tough to eat. I have not needed to complain about any takeaway food for a very long time; however, on this occasion I felt it was necessary to provide them with some honest feedback. Yet, my comments were greeted by laughter from the manager.
Friendly young lady took our phone order and was extremely helpful in helping us choose our dishes. Food was very good quality and excellent value for money. Seasoning on all the dishes was perfect and we would highly recommend this takeaway, it's the best in the area!
This place has been given 1 star for effort. Ordered a chicken curry. What I got was a container of thick brown paste with the worst chicken I've ever tasted. It was dry and unpleasant in everyway. It was so bad I threw it away Avoid going here
Used to be good, but it has gone really downhill, won’t be ordering from them again.
