Totally depends what you're looking for here. I like a trendy and quirky cafe so this wasn't really for me. The way I'd describe it is a mix between an old tea room and a charity shop. Old bookcases with home made trinkets for sale and an undesirable decor. However, the food and coffee were lovely and reasonably priced and the gentleman on shift was very friendly. They take card payment and have a sheltered outdoor seating area. They have a lot of gluten free options too.

I've visited this cafe three times now because I love the ethos behind it. They do good, home-made food and have a range of vegetarian, non dairy options. I also like the idea behind Happy Cafes and want to support a local business. But. The first time I visited I was given a lecture by the owner as to why I shouldn't drink soya milk. Annoying. The second time I sat in the outside 'garden' area which was basically a small depressing yard, scruffy and not very happy at all. The woman serving was grumpy and I was told I'd have to wait 20 minutes for my egg sandwich because it would be made to order. Ok, I didn't mind a bit of a wait, but the attitude was again off putting. The third time I visited it was an older man serving and again he seemed grumpy and put out that I was even in the cafe! The tinted window are a downside but I understand the owners can't improve that, but inside the cafe is not that great either. It is a bit too 'old-fashioned, scruffy hippy' in style. The Danes are very good at making cosy places with clean bright, neat cafes and flowers on the tables. Perhaps a couple of hours on Pinterest to get some ideas to make it more cheerful? I will come back again because i really want this place to work, but you've got to improve your customer service and make a Happy Cafe genuinely welcoming with a 'can do, happy to help' attitude.
