Took mum to see the flowers at the church in full bloom and was looking for somewhere to have a light lunch and found Halo .. lovely cosy little place, family run, very friendly. I had jacket potato with bacon and cheese which came with a lovely little side salad. Mum had one of the soups of the day which was mushroom that came with a warm crusty roll. All very tasty, well presented home cooked and just what was need. Would highly recommend a visit and the gift shop below has some lovely bits in.
Halo has been my favourite place to have lunch with a friend for many years . Jean's mushroom soup is legendary not to mention the egg custard! Gabriel's House is a little treasure trove for gifts . I've had many things from, mats, mirrors to scarves and candles.Food: 5/5
Lovely little cafe serving seriously delicious homemade food at a fair price. Cosey, warm and comfortably decorated dining area found by walking through Gabriel's House gift shop and taking the stairs at the back. Pay with cash in the cafe or by card in the gift shop. A little local treasure, highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem in Poulton. It's a very sweet, vintage, cozy old fashioned tea room. So tranquil and relaxing. It's not very big but I think that adds to the appeal. It overlooks St.Chads church and is very pretty to look at particularly in Springtime with the daffodils.I like that it's upstairs and away from the street. Lovely food on offer. The shop below is beautiful. The stock is so nice and right up my street. Try it out. You won't be disappointed.
Quaint and lovely tea room above gift shop. Excellent food. Delighted that they do an afternoon tea for one, as I fancied a special and wife had her heart set on afternoon tea.
Visited today with my friend, never been before. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, had a club sandwich and a pot of tea, absolutely delicious ! Highly recommend.
If you want lovely food and drink this is the place to come. The cheese and leek pie is really nice and friendly staff.
Popped in here for a quick lunch, friendly staff, cosy setting and nice food at a reasonable price. A delight, thank you!
