Very disappointed.... arrived at only 12.15 to find most of the menu sold out. A single ham and cheese toasty was the only remaining option for a hot sandwich, it wasn't even made fresh but pre-packed to be heated. As there were two of us , I had to make do with a cold egg and cress with insufficient and not very tasty filling. Will not be visiting again.
Great shop, but ran by incompetent managers. Who force staff into working all hours, by law you are entitled to 11 hours between shifts. There are staff having 9 hour gaps between shifts. Staff working 9 days straight in a row where as you are entitled to 24 hours un-interrupted rest in within a 7 day period. They speak to their employee's terribly and even do it infront of customers. Don't get me started on their disciplinary procedures...
I only go in Booths for one or two things as I find it a really expensive supermarket, they do stock quality products though... The staff are friendly and helpful.. Always have a coffee and cake in the café which is nice.. Rather slow service when it's busy...
There's always something that grabs our attention in Booth's store. We don't visit very often but the lamb from the butchery is always tasty and only slightly higher priced than our usual supermarket. This time we got captured by the Christmas beer choices and labels. Oh, and a taster of port as we waited at the checkout. See, there's always a good reason why we don't use the self-service tills at the other end of the line
Great shop, great quality, bit pricey, but bargains can be found. I got some Brisket the other week for £6 kg and it was lush..
Love the shop and the booths food is really good quality. The staff in the cafe were awful and miserable. The cafe was dirty, the toilets had no loo roll despite allegedly having been checked 10 minutes prior. There was no diet or sugar free drinks so had to get bottled water and when I asked for a glass with ice it was slammed on the counter. There is a Costa very close so will be using that in future.
One of the biggest Booths I have visited. Large car park. Free parking for up to 3 hours as best we could determine. As always Booths is more expensive that many other supermarkets but the range and quality of the produce they sell is far superior.
Nice clean store a bit pricey but always a good choice of product's.
Always like a Booth's wide aisles so you can see the great variety of products
Stocks Herdy - a brand I love. Produce is great but pricey, so I rarely shop there.
