Food is brilliant, staff are lovely and friendly and atmosphere is very cosy! A great pub with lots of choices to offer, we have eaten multiple times and are never disappointed! If you’re in the area or passing by, I would thoroughly recommend! :Service: 5/5
Visited Halfway House for a glass of wine & nibbles, service was friendly however needed to use venue's toilet. Unfortunately toilet lid would not remain up, making it almost impossible to use. Toilets were clean & would visit again, however like anything else, these should be checked & repaired when required.Service: 5/5
Really lovely dining experience - good veggie vegan options and really tasty. Service could be faster but it was well worth the wait Banana blossom fish & chips featured.
We had the specialty ofbthe day that is pork belly with garlic mash, green beans and sage sauce, it was absolutely amazing, one of the best pork belly we ever had. Staff was very nice and helpful, nice quiet dining room, thank you ever so much.
Called in for a very pleasant lunch, so can't comment on the rooms, the dining area was pleasant, though, and the food hit the spot!Service: 5/5
Had a few meals here over last year. Friendly service, nice atmosphere & the food is very good indeed.
Went in for a pint and a pee. Lovely vibe and the toilets were impeccable.Service: 5/5
Came here for a late breakfast, the staff were very accommodating to our group. Very cosy place, lots of locals seem to visit. Food was very nice, everyone was very pleased with what they got. Had some options we've not seen a lot of if at all, such as the breakfast sundae which was delightful according to one of our party members. Thank you to Kerry & Madi for serving us.
Me and my partner had breakfast there on a Sunday morning which was very delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. :
really dissapointed, this is my second visit, first visit was amazing , todays visit was so shameful, i ordered fish and chips the same meal that i had a few months ago that to me was the best fish and chips i have had and today it was a childs size fish , flat, absolutely nothing hardly under the batter, the young lady behind the bar did not even ask how my meal was in an almost empty bar, i actually asked a chap sat near me on a lap top if he worked here, but he did not, none existent staff, i am dissapointed to write this , as i was looking forward to a repeat of my first experience, £18 incl a drink is fine when you receive a good meal and i will say, there was nothing wrong with how it was cooked and the hand cut chips, but surly someone making this meal could see this was extremely small and hardly any fish, what a difference to the first time when i understood a lady chef had cooked this meal for me previously, i wish she was working today.
