My husband and I visited here to buy carpets for our new bungalow. The manager seemed pleasant and helpful. The day our carpets were coming to be laid we were told one carpet was damaged. So it would have to be reordered. My husband and son took the day off work on the Tuesday,to empty the room when we were told the carpet was coming. At 4 o'clock my husband phoned and asked when we could expect carpet fitters. However the manager had actually forgot to pass the job on to them. So it was rescheduled for the Saturday morning. Once again the room had to be emptied. The carpet fitters all made an excellent job and were polite and helpful. I phoned the manager myself as I was not happy with the service and asked for compensation for the inconvenience and waste of days off for my husband and son. The manager said he would phone me on Friday. However the manager phoned my husband and agreed an amount with him. And although they had my card details as I paid for the carpets, the manager phoned my husband on the Saturday for his bank details and sent the compensation to his bank account. All I can think is the manager Martin has a problem discussing problems he caused with a woman! Not happy at all with the time we had to wait, with the time that was wasted and the awful customer service from manager Martin. Would not recommend them and certainly would not buy from them again!
Not happy ordered over £800 in carpet and fittings measured by a carpet right employee. Order was confirmed on the 17th June. Waited until 25th then had to call the local shop to be told only some of the carpet had turned up no attempt to contact and inform me. So now has had to be recorded so another 2 weeks waiting. Wont be using again for my last two rooms.
Fantastic, knowledgeable and really helpful staff. Store would benefit from better lighting especially when trying to match to other samples. Well worth a visit if you're redecorating. Loads of parking.
Visitated looking for a bedroom and living room carpet. Shop well presented with a large choice in carpets. Served by a lovely young man who was very helpful and knowledgeable.
1st time I went in I was put off as staff seemed to be fawicks, but on another attempt to get advise I was seen by a young lady who must be relatively new, she was very informative and helpful, I will certainly buy here again after dealing with the young petit lady.
Excellent service and good value.Floored my whole house for under a grand.Special thanks to Martin in store and Scott the fitter.Highly recommend ed
Completely useless,Natasha never forwarded on my phone in result missed the carpet fitters,they said they phone the following morning but never did.ordered Lino but never told me was out of stock as iam moving into a ne flat this really is a hinderance after spending a grand and I am unemployed their customer service is shocking.
Good service .Good quality carpets and fitting.Have went there for yrs.
Always a warm welcome at the Dumfries store, the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my flooring.
