The guys and girls at Bridgend Halfords have always been helpful. On my last trip to pick up some detailing products my car battery decided to give up outside, I was able to order a new battery and have it fitted there and then with thanks to Harry, who helped out straight away fitting the battery and ensuring all was good.
Excellent customer service! Staff were super friendly, engaging and keen to help. Lady with rainbow hair and guy who came out to check my car went above and beyond please give them both pay rises, left with a smile on my face. Thank you!
The staff are always too busy to help everytime I go there. There too short staffed. Always an awful experience going in with loads of fed up customers waiting around. Used to be a great place to go and they used to be available to help, about 8 years ago.
Good experience. Had pre ordered some items, joined the premium club- that’s turned out to be very useful I’ve saved double the premium 12 month fee so far and have only had it less than 3 months. Good prices good quality… highly recommend

Nice staff when they are around which isn't often. Bit annoyed went in to buy an electric bike. After i had already bought a bike with them, that was faulty and didn't end up working so I tried to buy an electric bike instead and was told not to bother as its waste of money by the staffember. Bit annoyed by it as I do not have a working bike. And I need a bike to help get me about. Shame. 6months later I’ve still not had anyone sorting out my bike. Had a lovely man tried to help me. Went back few weeks later he wasn’t there and other staff was there explained the situation what the nice member of staffed offered to give money back or replace bike. /fix the other staff was unsure what to do kept us waiting for 48mins and still nothings been done. I keep getting messed about by this establishment/ business. Not by the nice guy. But nothings been done 2 years later
Bike is currently with Halfords Bridgend for repair. Usually pretty good service and this review is no reflection on the general service I get there. But contacted Halfords via phone and was unfortunately met by the most unhelpful lady ever. Name began with H. "Helga?" Even the way she answered the phone sounded so unwelcoming. Talk about offering "customer service". I'm sure she does a great job on the shop floor, but certainly not a tone for picking up calls.
I had to take my bike in as an emergency before a triathlon. Not only was Callum extremely helpful but took ownership to change the chain and install a new derailleur cable which was all done in time and for only £27. I don't normally use big commercial places for work on my bike but needs must and will certainly do so again!
Poor service. None of the touch screens for finding parts were working and when I went to the technical help desk I was rudely told by the manager that this help desk was no longer operational. I was told to go to the checkout for help. After a 10 minute wait at the checkout I was told by the cashier that they couldn't help me. I googled the info needed and got what I wanted. Poor show!!
