I have been trying to get my bike fixed for the past three months in Beckton store closest to my address. Each time I visit, the moment I set foot in the store, I have the sense that I will be sent away with a random reason. The most frequent excuse has been the "no technician available". Today my luck has finally turned and a technician was available. Having assessed my bike he told me that I should have come sooner [Heaven knows, I did], by now my wheel has become so deformed that it cannot be trued, only replaced. I need to source my own wheel because they are experiencing issues with the supplier and it may take three months to get my wheel replaced. Good that I purchased a 3 year cycle care plan, I could have just flushed that money down the drain. Today's choice of notice on display: "NO REPAIRS"
Apart from below today I went for my bike repair which I already paid cycle care. I will attach the pictures you people decide how good this store they spoiled my new bike when bring for 6 weeks service today. I suggest don’t visit this store at any cost everything cheating and staff also behave very rude and badly. I will attached pictures. you people can decide yourself. It is brand new bike I wasted my time and this people made my bike repair. Whom I need to complaint about this store. Because this people selling all faulty products and doing all this faulty things how mechanic will damage bikes like this. I asked mechanic about damage , but he blindly telling we can do anything and asked about why it is giving more noice while coming everything fine know you damaged my bike please fix it. He said he is not not expert come again. Nonsense he is not mechanic but he is doing all in this store.My child scooter same issue with one day screws came out I bought it back but store people blindly rejected . Know my bike gram and gears damaged because of this store poor mechanics. No use of complaining to manager and Halford . ————————————————————————— This store management is cheating customers like anything . If you order bike click and collect they will make sure that customer will get faulty product .Worst store don’t go here until you want to get cheated. I purchased cycle in this store, which is faulty I bought it back to the store with in a day and asked them to fix. But they asked me to pay 40 pounds for that totally cheaters. With in a day they are not accepting to take return even it is faulty . If anyone have doubt please reach out to me. If you want to loose money you can prefer this store.
Service is terrible. The white girl upstairs is absolutely a racist. I was waiting 15 minutes to talk to her. I have silver membership for cycle repair but she said she can’t even touch my bike without an appointment. Also very rude ignorant. Halfords should teach them how to behave with customers. I complained to the manager about the racism thing but he didn’t even apologise for that. He just replied he will talk to his staff, very disappointed to get this reply from manager.
Disgraceful customer service,was over charged due to a substantially incorrect advertised price then told the refund will take three to four days to be credited back to my card .. unbelievable! On top of that was greeted by rudeness and arrogance on the till ....will not be going to Halfords again !
I needed a new headlight bulb which they supplied immediately and fitted as well in torrential rain. It took the mechanic about 5mins from start to finish. I'd probably still be trying to extract the bulb from the packet... Many thanks indeed.
Booked in for the 10 point check at the Beckton store. Everything done promptly and professionally, just a new bulb change needed and any questions I had were answered in a polite, friendly manner. Happy customer here! 5 stars.
I had to wait 20 min until someone came to speak with me in the Beckton store, even if i had a booking. .After 20 more min I've been told that the bike I want to try is not available and asked if I have a second option. Obviously my second option was not available so they gave me another bike to try, but I refused. They tried to fix the first bike and finally gave it to me after 1h and 20 min. I went outside for the test but the battery was not charged. I've lost 1h 40 min on a really chaotic and unprofessional service. Probably won't buy a bike from Halfords if a ebike test runs like that .
Had a dash cam fitted today by Rohan hopefully spelt right a good lad. No problems at all. Very effecient and professional. Explained the system to me and I left a happy with the service I recieved
10 days ago bought some items and booked for them to be fitted now. My money was taken. I received an email confirming the booking. When I went to the desk the woman said that I couldn't have a booking because the fitters don't work on Sundays. The fitter is outside working on another car as I type see pictures I showed her my email which listed the booking. She acted like it was my fault that there was no booking on the halfords system, somethingthat I haveno control over. She said that if I had a booking I should have been contacted after the email. Again something that the email did not say, and so I would have had no way of knowing and no way of doing anything about the lack of contact. She did give me a refund, but was surly throughout and not once apologised. My round trip journey took an hour and I have wasted time where I could have had the dascam fitted by people who can manage their own appointments.
Taz was really helpful, and helped me fix my car light bulb. As I previously came, the girl at the till, said she can’t fix it i have to go the local garage, but taz helped me straight away. Good customer service. Really recommend.
