My sister in law and I came to the salon on Saturday to have our hair styled before an event in the evening. Our stylist Emily was lovely, bubbly and chatty. She listened to what we wanted and we were both really happy with the end result. Thank you
First time in the salon today and I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Emily. What a wonderful lady she is. Today I only wanted my hair cut due to my previous hairdresser retiring. Emily listened to what I wanted but also tweeked where she thought it was necessary as I asked for her professional opinion my hair looks lovely again and I’m booked back in for my colour soon. The staff are lovely and the salon is clean and welcoming. Thank you for having me today
I am thrilled with my new haircut! It was a very big change chopped off my ponytail! and I love what I came out with. The experience was great, too. Jesco is a really nice guy, I enjoyed chatting with him and felt very well looked-after. Will definitely be back.
I am really happy with the experience I received at hair mechanics and mostly with Katie. She was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I wear a headscarf and she made sure she had the privacy screens ready for me. Adding to the great service I was really happy with the results of my hair cut and colour left feeling really pleased! I’ve received tons of compliments since the appointment
I went to get a new undercut put back in after a year growing my hair out. The overall service was fantastic and the lovely lady on reception was very welcoming when I got there. I had Jesko who was very kind and easy to talk to. He listened well to what I wanted and also gave helpful suggestions. I love the undercut he put in and I’m very pleased with the neat line. I’ve had the same style done a few places and they’ve often been slightly uneven or not really what I asked for. However this cut was just what I wanted and more as he took the time to discuss a couple of possible options. He was quick with the haircut but not at all rushed and took time to line everything up and make sure I was happy with it before cutting. The price was very reasonable and I’m hoping to return for when I next need a trim.
Amazing service! Love my experience with Jesko. I am very picky with who I let cut my hair, after doing some research I found Hair Mechanics Salon. Jesko listened to my needs and did exactly what I asked. I have very long hair and wanted to trim the ends and have some layers and he did that perfectly with keeping the length of my hair. He is so gentle and treated my hair with so much care. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
I had an incredible experience at the salon today! Even thought i wore a hijab, they provided partitions for privacy and were incredibly understanding. Katy's skillful hands worked magic, bleaching and dyeing my hair without any damage or discomfort. The price for coffee, bleaching, dyeing, blow-drying, and straightening with excellent skills in each step was under £100!! They truly deserve the highest praise for their exceptional service!
Fantastic cut again from Jesko. Could never fault anything from Hair Mechanics. Always happy, helpful and listens to what I’d like. I’ve been going there since around 2009 and highly recommend it!
My best friend who I was visiting in Newcastle booked me in for a cut and blow-dry with the lovely and talented Katy Jay and let me tell you! I'd fly in monthly for my cut. The experience was dreamy, the service impeccable down to a lovely cuppa, top tier bants and - above all - a superb cut. Katy advised me expertly on the process of growing out my hair and the choice of cut was stunning, as was the execution. Thank you Katy for making me feel - and look - like a million bucks. I'll see you when I'm back in NCL for sure.
I went for a consultation and Jesko was absolutely lovely. He gave lots of advice on how I could get the style I want after not quite getting what I asked for at another salon. He also offered to tidy up my hair till my next appointment and I was so pleased.
