Played a round here yesterday whilst visiting from the netherlands. Great staff very friendly and accomodating to us since we had to hire clubs. Couldn’t recommend Haddington more to travellers looking for a challenging round of golf in a beautiful part of east Lothian. Thanks again
Decent course. I played on a Tuesday after the season was finished. I play at a James braid course which Haddington also is, where you get a discount. The pro said to me it's usually £55 but I'll do it for £35. If this is true, I feel its considerably over priced for what you get. It's a reasonably maintained parkland course, but no hole really stood out. Half the greens were in good condition considering the time of year and weather recently being wet. A few greens were struggling a bit. Bunkers were okay but a little ragged. Nice friendly atmosphere around the club and nice wee driving range for a warm up. In an area with many impressive courses in not sure I'd pay the money again as £55 at non peak time is too much and I wonder if the pro was telling porkies to get the full rate out me.

Great course, one of my favourites, especially as I visit family infrequently in Hadders. Some very scenic parkland holes. Even after a horrendously wet winter, the course is holding up well. I've been shooting better scores every time I've played as I get to know the firm greens and iron distances to hit. A couple of my good friends play here. Driving range, pro shop and clubhouse all very respectable. Great putting green and chipping area.
