Very friendly and helpful staff at this post office. Excellently stocked convenience store too.
Since it doesn't appear on any other site, the final posting time at this post office is 4.40pm on Mondays through Fridays. Last collection is 4.53pm hence why they don't take any parcels after that time. I thought that may be useful. Service can be surly and I would prefer it if the staff wore masks but the hours are generally good and it's well located for speedy drop offs.
Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Avoid this place at all costs. Rude staff and will try to scam you. I measured and weighed a letter at home to use Royal Mail Click & Drop for a first class signed for service and affixed the postage a passport return incidentally. When I tried to drop it off at this place the staff member told me there wasn't sufficient postage and I needed to pay more which I knew wasn't the case. Needless to say I wasn't going to be comfortable leaving my old passport with someone with obviously questionable ethics anyway. I then went somewhere else and they told me the postage was fine. Says everything you need to know about this place really.
Rude guy... unhelpful service... scarcely replies to you. Everything is an inconvenience. Don't bother, wish I had gone to Thame instead but was trying to support my local PO.
The service was excellent but am not sure how it happened that a letter I posted signed for delivery has been delivered to my house in Thame instead of Oxford where it was meant to go to. Very weird. Will check with the shop to understand this error
Been in the village for over 6 years and this shop has gradually gone from friendly and attentive to grumpy and unfriendly. Staff are just on their phones the whole time, never a hello or thank you, it’s always a chore for them to accept your post. Finding myself driving into Thame more often to use the Post Office there rather than these guys.
I have complained twice to Head Office concerning the lack of professionalism. The male assistants are unfriendly, bordering rude with no customer skills whatsoever. They give you the impression the Customers are a nuisance to them. Constantly on mobiles. Head Office respond with the usual "we have noted your comments" but nothing gets done. Happy to drive to Thame for politeness. Since my post I see a customer arora has praised the staff with 100% satisfaction. I am pleased that maybe the staff have taken on board the reviews and opinions of the customers that found them rude. Well done, still driving to Thame for guaranteed politeness!!
Really unsure about all these other reviews! Have been 3 times this week alone, normally with about 10-20 parcels a turn and the guys there have been nothing but pleasant and helpful every single time! I drive from Thame to use this post office often as there's usually no queue and the guys are lovely, will keep using it as my preferred post office!
Terrible service. Visited around 5 times in the last year and the staff could not be less helpful. Avoid.
Came here 6.30pm as google and the post office website both state open til 7pm. I did this as I have a toddler so don’t fancy standing in line queues during lockdown with her. I came with lots of parcels to be rudely told the post office shuts at 5pm. I told him he needs to update online for him to state it’s been like that since year and half. I can also confirm like others have said he didn’t look up barely from phone. Is it just a requirement that people who work in post offices are rude and the rules and opening hours are from Stone Age or what ?! So don’t bother turning up with parcels as totally unaware of hours.
