Came here with a friend for brunch. They have a good selection of brunch menu. The one that I had was smoked salmon, salad, scrambled eggs, and baked potato. Trust me the baked potato is to die for. They made it like thin slices on top of each other and bake it. So yummy. The place is so cozy, no wonder it was full. The service is excellent, the staff are so friendly and attentive. I definitely will go back here again, even tho it's a bit of a journey from my home. But it's so worth it.
It was a nice brunch restaurant. We ordered English breakfast. The portion wasn't that big, but enough for me to feel full. But iced oat latte was a bit blend. The restaurant decoration was cute and cosy.
I had dinner with my wife yesterday, overall we had a nice experience, the service was great, and the food was tasty! My only complaint is that the Onion dish was uncomfortable to eat. The onion was undercooked and due to that stayed very stringy which made the whole cutting experience a struggle. It should have been served much more cooked or after it was cutted at the kitchen for more comfortable bites IMO. The streak was very good and the dessert was incredible! Overall highly recommended
Went there for breakfast and liked the place. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, food nicely presented and tasty. Portion sizes could be a little bigger. Having said that we left satisfied with our breakfast. Would visit again.
It’s the 2nd time I am going and the food was even better! Amazing quality, presentation and taste! We tried different starters, the one I was really impressed was the cured mackerel and then the burrata with the blood oranges. From the main courses, I had the hake, sooo good for fish lovers and my friend the pork. The whole service team was extremely friendly and Chef Spyros helped us with his recommendations. I would definitely go again!
The food is generally very good, although the brunch menu could do with some occasional updating. I've found the drinks to be disappointing. Across half a dozen or so visits, I've never thought the coffee was great, but last time it was so bitter as to be undrinkable and undrunk. Either the beans Press, which aren't a good option in my view are over-roasted and/or the machine a decent-looking La Marzocco is set up badly and is overextracting. The prosecco was quite nice but flat on my penultimate visit. Having seen it being poured on my last visit, I can see why - it was tipped straight into the glass with no angle, leading to excessive foaming. That pretty much guarantees a flat drink. The bathroom is nice for such a small restaurant and the staff are reasonably friendly. I'd note that it's quite loud, due to the hard surfaces everywhere and lack of any sound-absorbing materials. Hopefully, there's some improvement on the drinks front, as I'd be keen to return otherwise
Visited for a Brunch. Eggs Benedict and Salmon was tasty. Bloody Mary cocktail to awake, strong but good.Staff friendly and excellent service. Prices are relevant to a place and Hempstead area.
We got the Ham breakfast and the eggs benedict. The benedict was really good and the bread was good too. The ham breakfast was not so great though - the sausages were pretty dry and bacon too. Overall, the vibe is cute and nice but the food wasn’t that amazing for the price hence 3 stars.
