Been to the Gynsills today for a piece of cake. Plenty of empty tables, yet not a single one of them clean. When we finally found a table and went to ordernour cakes, we saw that several of the cakes on display were mouldy as you can see on the photos that I took of two of those cakes. Tried to tell staff, but no staff to be found. Obviously left without cake. Very disappointing and a health hazard to those eating there. Tried to find an email address for the pub directly, but the website doesnt seem to give one away.
Great self-serve style full English breakfast, friendly staff, would come again. Everything was tasty, would say the friend egg taste watery didn't taste fried, would hope they can can look into it.
Beautiful Carvery and a wide selection of Desserts. Very friendly and efficient staff too. Would definitely visit again.
Wow that was a tasty carvery! Such a bargain, I had beef and gammon. Let me tell you those trimmings were all absolutely stunning and the portions weren't shy neither. Rebecca provided service with a smile. Let's go Gynsills!Food: 5/5

Lovely staff service was at a good standard. There were 12 in the group a mix of children and adults. Some had burgers, etc, and around four had the carvery. Unfortunately, all the vegetables were only warm. I just don't understand why the vegetables are not covered to keep them at a reasonable temperature, so they are still hot when you get to your table
Was a good carvery very tasty we had the beef with extra Yorkshire pudding an pigs in blanket enjoyed it was stuffed will be back
Five stars for splendid roast meats and excellent range of veg. Great value. Thoroughly recommend the roast buffet. Even a cup for a generous helping of extra gravy. Good place for a brunch or for tea - massive cake slices. Staff friendly. Wine very reasonably priced but choose the higher priced ones. Good beer.
Really nice atmosphere at Gynsills. Arrived to a lovely smiling lady. Sunday carvery was really good. Excellent food nice and hot. We were served by Rebecca. Although obviously busy she had time to chat which is so lovely. She couldn’t do more for us. Even stopped to say goodbye as we were leaving.
Went gynsills for my nieces bday , excellent service from the lady whom served us went above and beyond to make my nieces bday special, very polite and friendly. Even got kitchen staff to write happy bday on plate especially for my niece. Servers name was Rebecca, a member of staff you should be proud of.
