Nice restaurant and nice service. We found it in the fork and everything was good, they accepted our yums. To be honest I was expecting something different. I wouldn't say better, but just more traditional. The food was savoury, just some dishes were not traditionally Italian for example the boar ragu was simply not ragù/bolognese sauce. The caprese was really good, while the warm panettone was not warm enough/the cram was too cold so it wasn't as pleasant as expected. But at the end of the meal what is important is that the experience was really positive and people working here really kind ++
Just looking at my pictures makes my mouth water all over again! After a busy day of rambling around the city we wanted Italian and wow did we get it! I had a few reservations as we trekked through the surrounding neighborhood which seemed to be devoid of any shops or restaurants. As we rounded a corner, there was Gustoso’s, light dancing from its windows and inviting us in and it was definitely worth the trip! The food was absolutely delicious, service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was homey. And the price! Shockingly decent for such quality offerings. Definitely high on my list places to return to.
Excellent food and service, surprisingly easy for a walk-in without a reservation, but in fairness was a sunny Wednesday evening around 6pm. Highly recommend the boar ragù and ribbon pappardelle, and the mango panna cotta with passionfruit drizzle. The fried courgettes and calamari strips were on point too.
A lovely Italian restaurant with good service and excellent food. Quite a cosy place with an open kitchen and a private dining room below. I came here for New Year's Eve dinner so it was a set price with a set menu to choose from. Enjoyed it and would happily return/recommend.
On our walk back to our hotel we decided to head into this Italian restaurant. The service was good and fast, there was hardly any waiting time which was perfect for us because we came in hungry!! One server brought us water, another took our order and another brought our food out. We ordered the bruschetta, ravioli and mushroom risotto. The bruschetta tasted great! It had just the right amount of arugula plated and the same for the oil and vinegar drizzle. The ravioli was good however, there were only three in the dish for the price of £15 or so which, I think is too expensive for what I tasted. The mushroom risotto started out as tasting good but after a while it began to leave a fishy taste in my mouth which shouldn’t happen since the entire dish is vegetarian. This is probably due to a lack of strong cleaning from the pans used for this dish. The staff were all polite and pleasant. Some even spoke Italian, which was nice because we live in Italy and are used to speaking common phrases in Italian when we’re out to eat. When a female server picked dishes up from the table next to me, her long braided hair touched my plate of risotto. There was no hair cooked in my food but her hair is so long, below waist level, that it was able to touch my plate when she turned to move around the table next to me. I had a decent time at this restaurant but personally, the food is overpriced and the staff watch the tables too closely that I didn’t feel like I could enjoy my meal at my leisure. Therefore, it was a pleasant night out but I will not be returning to this establishment.
Delicious food, very friendly staffs, love the special menu! Will come back here when I visit London!
Massively overpriced. £180 for 4 people eating a main and a starter with a bottle of wine is just crazy pricing. Food is nice but not spectacular. Service is fine and the atmosphere is fine. However none of it is worth the pricing which is just insane. I had a spinach and liver which was nice but not £20 nice. My Mother had 6 pieces of ravioli with beef and sauce which she thought was nice but not £20 nice. My nephew had spaghetti with crab which he said was nice but no pasta ever is £20 nice - it's food that was designed for poor peasants to eat. None of it was bad but then again none of it was worth the price it was set as. So all in all it was a tad disappointing because it was vastly overpriced!
Average “Italian” food, average desserts. Good service and clean facilities. Wheelchair accessibility: Steps at the entrance and at a very awkward angle for wheelchair users.
Really amazing food! It's so rare to find fresh made pasta in London... felt we were almost in Italy.
Friendly service, nice pasta The desert tiramisu can be better
